Shadowlands was one of the best expansions. Glad to see it still being referenced.
People who love the lore felt great about this.People who enjoyed Warcraft RTS games and Classic-WotLK typically have have low media literacy. It's like object permanance with babies. If you tell them something, they don't question the source or validity, they just say "This is the absolute truth no matter what and anything else is a retcon or fan service."To be fair, the Light has been projected this way for the last 20 years. Prolly why so many of the boomers play paladins.
Yup, knew the haters would latch themselves onto this post too.
Commendable that someone even had it in them to analize "this".Here's my analysis: 1. Blizzard writers have zero writing skill and zero taste.2. This is not worth analyzing.
Booo! Stop bringing back awful characters! Let them DIE already! 🤮
A swoop-in saving by a character who's not been present in this expansion feels incredibly bad and unearned. How did she escape the Maw? What's the price paid for it? Can she do it again? How the heck could she have teleported right to the boss room? Why didn't she do this to save others earlier in the raid? I don't see how all of those questions will have satisfying answers and that feels bad.So, now, the players aren't actually accomplishing anything. What was the point of getting all the elves together? Now that we can always just be saved by a former main character, regardless of the story or anything else, what's the point of the rest of this expansion? This was the perfect opportunity for Arator to step up, or even Khadgar for heaven's sake.I was sorely disappointed when she showed up and it killed my interest in the storytelling that I thought had been pretty decent up until then.
Thanks for all the effort and work that went into this post 🖤
Finally! Massive props for actually hiding the spoilers this time 🤣. I still remember when the 'secret' character was literally in the post title, or there’d be a huge screenshot leaking everything anyway lol.
I'm guessing that Sylvanas will not be the only one to know the truth. Illidan will know the truth too, in his prison. During his fight with Sargeras, he will learn everything about the Titans. My guess is that we will see him just before the next expansion
lmao at all the copers"it-it's the haters! the story isn't rank reeking @#$%^&*! it's the haters! METZEN WILL SAVE US! FOR GO'EL!"
Bringing back that genocidal monster that was only put in the game in the first place to bind thirsty teens to the game is so bad I am almost impressed.
fortnight has better cannon at this point
