As guilds have been progressing on Mythic Stone Legion Generals, one portion of the encounter was slightly nerfed earlier today in a hotfix. In addition, Blizzard has been continuing to tune many abilities on the Mythic Denathrius encounter, buffing many abilities on the encounter today!
Mythic Stone Legion Generals Nerfs
This hotfix nerfs the Intermission phases of the encounter. As you only have 4 seconds to break the
Volatile Stone Shell
shield before instantly dying, this was a very high DPS check that has wiped guilds quite a few times. If that wasn't enough, this shield basically requires single target damage, as the shield prevents most AoE damage abilities from hitting them.
This nerf makes it slightly easier to break the shield, meaning you won't have to commit as many cooldowns.
Volatile Stone Shell
Upon reaching 20% health Stone Legion Commandos encase themselves in a stone shell, absorbing 272493246123 damage, granting immunity to Area of Effect abilities for 4 sec. Stone Shell Detonation is triggered if the shield is not broken before the channel ends.
Mythic Denathrius Buffs
During the Race to World First, Blizzard has repeatedly pushed tuning hotfixes before guilds have reached upcoming bosses. The night before Mythic Castle Nathria opened,
a first set of tuning hotfixes were pushed
buffing Sludgefist. During Sludgefist, a second set of
Stone Legion Generals hotfixes
buffed the fight again.
Now, while guilds are still progressing on the difficult Stone Legion Generals encounter, Blizzard has pushed hotfixes buffing many of the abilities on the final fight. This damage of this fight is being tuned up, likely so it won't be underhealed like some previous end-bosses. There will be plenty of things for healers to do on this encounter!
Blood Price
Denathrius torments players with Burden of Sin, rendering them unable to move or act for 3.5 sec.
When this effect expires, each player is knocked away from Denathrius and explodes for 32993547 Shadow damage to all players who have the same number of Burden of Sin stacks.
Burden of Sin
All players gain 6 stacks of Burden of Sin at the start of the encounter. Every 2 sec, Burden of Sin inflicts 454536 Shadow damage per stack.
Fatal Finesse
Denathrius sets his sights on random players, then slashes each of them 5 sec later. Inflicts 1855928870 Shadow damage to players within 9 yds of the target, plus an additional 24792472 Shadow damage every 1 sec for 20 sec.
Impale
Remornia marks random players, then impales each of them a few seconds later. Inflicts 2680832995 Physical damage to all players in her path.
Insatiable Hunger
Inflicts 6186598984 Physical damage to players within 4 yds of the Night Hunter's target and heals Denathrius for 150% of that amount.
Damage is reduced for each player in the path of the Night Hunter.
Nathrian Hymn: Duskhollow
Perform a dark ritual in honor of Denathrius, inflicting 20622268 Shadow damage to players within 50 yds every 2 sec.
Increases damage taken from Baron Duskhollow by 20% for 1 min. This effect stacks.
Nathrian Hymn: Evershade
Perform a dark ritual in honor of Denathrius, inflicting 20622268 Shadow damage to players within 50 yds every 2 sec.
Increases damage taken from Lord Evershade by 20% for 1 min. This effect stacks.
Nathrian Hymn: Gloomveil
Perform a dark ritual in honor of Denathrius, inflicting 20622268 Shadow damage to players within 50 yds every 2 sec.
Increases damage taken from Countess Gloomveil by 20% for 1 min. This effect stacks.
Nathrian Hymn: Sinsear
Perform a dark ritual in honor of Denathrius, inflicting 20622268 Shadow damage to players within 50 yds every 2 sec.
Increases damage taken from Lady Sinsear by 20% for 1 min. This effect stacks.

You know what else needs buffs? Frost mages!
BIG true
DeadMage2020
One can only dream. I picked mage as my mainjust because every tier, every guide got frost as the go to spec. I like it so much. But then, the week of nerfs. I had to give it a try but no matter how much effort I put, the damage is just not there.
I refuse to play fire, I highly dislike its playstyle. Hoping they give frost some love.
just play arcane, two button rotation is super fun! /s
