Datamined List of Crucible Item Changes

Custody of the Deep - Trident of Deep Ocean Taking damage has a low chance to form a protective bubble around you for 40 sec that absorbs 25% of incoming damage, up to * (1 + Versatility)]. When the bubble bursts, increase your primary stat by 75 for 1 min, stacking up to 3 times.

Dredged Vitality - Fathom Dredgers Every 10000 mana spent grants you a shield absorbing * (1 + Versatility)] damage for 8 sec, up to a maximum absorb of * (1 + Versatility)].

Drowning Tide - Fa'thuul's Floodguards While above 90% health, your damaging abilities have a high chance to send a wave crashing down on your target dealing * (1 + Versatility)] Frost damage. While below 90% health, your damaging abilities have a high chance to restore * (1 + Versatility)] health.

Ephemeral Vigor - Abyssal Speaker's Gauntlets Your abilities have a chance to grant you a shield absorbing * (1 + Versatility)] damage for 1 min. While this shield persists, gain 144 Haste.

Indiscriminate Consumption - Idol of Indiscriminate Consumption Feed on seven allies or enemies within 15 yards, devouring up to 38702801 health from each. You are healed for 200% of damage dealt.

When Crucible of Storms was originally added to the 8.1.5 PTR a few weeks ago, we included full drop tables for both Restless Cabal and Uu'nat. We designed Crucible of Storms drops to be somewhat different than items that have been dropping thus far in Uldir and Battle of Dazar'alor – this is a new chapter in the story that takes us to a different, stranger place.We've recently gone through those items and tuned them up to fit closer to expectations, and in most cases, to power up their bonus effects. Here are some examples of changes we've made since the items first hit the PTR:Fa'thuul's Floodguards

Damage increased by ~25%
Healing increased by ~25%

Abyssal Speaker's Gauntlets

Shield increased by ~200%

Mindthief's Eldritch Clasp

Health restored and consumed increased by ~35%

Grips of Forsaken Sanity

Damage increased by ~25%

Legplates of Unbound Anguish

Damage increased by ~25%

We've been making these adjustments via hotfix to the PTR since Friday, and we don't expect that you're going to see them via datamining immediately, but know that these are intended changes, and hopefully they're now quite close to final values.

Also, on a personal note, I hate items that require you to play around them. Sad too see though that some of these will never be used by healers, as there's only a damage effect (on leather/mail/plate). I would've loved to see the damaging ones shifting over to healing in a healing spec, with the same drawback as the damage versions of course. Right now you probably won't use them if your focus is healing because most of them lack a second secondary stat. This will make the items significantly weaker than a 'normal' item.
Making them do healing is a bit less logical from a fantasy/lore point of view though, especially with these item names.
