So basically 1 crest in 10.2 = 1 fragment in 10.1.

Hardly a QoL change, it's like 8 slots in your bag, on average
I have no idea why anyone is surprised by this. It's quite literally the blizz MO for the last several expansions. Step 1. Launch expac and progressively add hilariously stupid time-gated and overly bloated/complicated currencies.Step 2. Wait.Step 3. Wait.Step 4. Finish expac by deleting some currencies and trimming down the bloat and adding much needed and overdue QoL features.Rinse and repeat.

A good QoL upgrade would be to make the currency tab account-wide. Job Done.
Congratulations on finally achieving what should've been the bare minimum to begin with.
Why don't they get rid of the 15 crests needed for an upgrade and just reward the 1 crest per dung/boss kinda deal? Smaller numbers and it keeps the system more simple.
