Ehmn ... This is way to awesome.

Hope it's a weapon mog, would love to roll my Tauren as a Warcraft 3 Tauren.

Tauren only? Or highmountain tauren also?

Comment by Alteryon

I wish the reward for non-taurens was a toy that turns you into a tauren for 5 minutes, kind of like the orb of deception or the orb of the sindorei that would've been great

Tauren only? Or highmountain tauren also?

Wondering this as well, since the images displayed are on a Highmountain Tauren.

My Tauren Fury Warrior (exalted with Thunder Bluff, completed heritage armor) shows the mace as his reward in the Adventure Guide.

Comment by Lahis

Do these unlock for Tauren characters if you do the questchain on other race, or do we need to do the quests as a Tauren?

Could the special flag for the weapon be the completion of Heritage Armor questline?

Shows for my Tauren Shaman as well.

Is the mace two handed only? I wish it also functioned as a Staff like the Dark Iron Weapon so more classes could use it and you could use the staff animation for it.

It's mainhand.

Tauren only? Or highmountain tauren also?

Both items show both races as the required races, so that's my bet...

Highmountain ARE Tauren - Highmountain Tauren is their racial name.

Comment by megatwerj

Can anyone confirm if highmountain tauren exalted with thunderbluff could also get the weapon?

The weapon has Highmountain Tauren as a requirement along with Tauren so I assume so, yeah

It's Main Hand, but shows up under Two-Handed Maces.

Highmountain ARE Tauren - Highmountain Tauren is their racial name.

There's a distinction as far as the game goes. Name or not they're flagged as different races. Just like the various achievements for doing stuff like tossing flowers on specific races. A Zandalari Troll will not give you credit for Troll. A Mag'har Orc will not give you credit for Orc. A Lightforged Draenei... you get the idea. To the game they're separate races.

Can anyone that already got the cosmetic confirm if it is possible to transmog as a Tauren Rogue LOL ? That would be so much fun

It's a two handed mace.
