If you haven't done the Bloodsail grind yet, be aware that the grind is the easy part now. Rebuilding your Goblin rep is the harder part. You're going to need a few thousand pieces (each) of Linen, Silk, and Mageweave. So you're going to have to farm them or drop some (potentially a lot of) gold on the AH.
Okay, yes! Now, make the first Mate hat cosmetic, or add the high res appearances for the freehold pirate bicornes, and we're good!
There's no reason for them to not put all, and yes I mean all, of these new transmog items on various vendors. Greens can stay as general world drops; blues and purples can stay as items that are on loot tables (with some exceptions, obviously, for certain blues and purples that are world drops, too). I'd 100% support putting gray/white/trash tmog items on vendors at affordable prices.
> History tells us that yes, quest rewards are retroactively added to the transmog system. I don't see any reason why this would be a different case. As far as quest rewards go in this case, there's no difference between different rarity levels.Because this info is stored in the database for your character - quest completion flags. There is no information stored about every single trash item you've ever picked.
I wish Blizzard would tell us how the transmog expansion is going to go down. It'd be nice to know what items I can keep and what items I can vendor.
Now if they could only figure out how to handle cosmetic items with "On Use" effects (like tabards with teleports, the Theramore tabard, the Bloodsail Admiral's hat with the summonable Blood Parrot, etc.)All those things are still using up valuable bag & bank space and I won't delete something with an On Use!
I've forgotten all about these types of items so I hope this column becomes a regular thing.
