Now this is the content I come here for!
I feel silly coming to the article, expecting something other than links to something already linked on every page. Still, when I checked my classes earlier, everything was updated and ready for me to copypaste like a good lemming. Though, a HUGE bit of advice for people who're no doubt going to blindly copypaste and complain that their dps sucks, make sure to look at the "Key Talents" tab in your class' best builds section. There are optional talents, and the guide writers kind of vaguely go over them. For example, in the Beast Mastery Hunter guide, the Mythic 0 build (which is definitely the build to level with) shows one point in Trailblazer and one point in Serrated Shots. You do not need a point in Trailblazer to reach any capstone talents, and you can safely take that one point out of Trailblazer and allocate it into Serrated Shots. Or, if you don't mind slightly less DPS, put both points in Trailblazer to run faster when out of combat, swapping the points back to Serrated Shots when in a dungeon.Don't just copypaste and expect it to be perfect out of the box. ALL talent builds have leeway for minor adjustments, so be sure to do the brief and simple research to fine tune it to how you want to play whatever class. Take the mandatory stuff obviously, but fiddle with optional talents when possible. Also, keep in mind that exporting the tree builds may end up being funky. If you build off of a guide's tree, don't export the build; manually select the talents you want. While Shadowlands DPS means nothing now, my BM hunter was doing significantly more damage with Death Chakram instead of Alpha Predator, both of which are capstones we'll have at level 70. I plan to go hard on levels, so I wanted to pick what was best for me at the time. Going in to Dragonflight with Death Chakram means I can do more AoE, and more AoE means I can pull more and take credit from more people, which ultimately means I'll get things done somewhat quicker. I'm not saying you need to do extensive testing, but pick the talents available to us from those suggested trees that will benefit your leveling gameplay better. This is just what feels better to me, and isn't the "DO WHAT I SAY OR ELSE" ultimatum it may sound like, but I highly suggest taking some time to mull over your options instead of just copypasting and not thinking.
another article being release 4 hours before launch .. really? why did they take so long this should have been given out over 2 weeks ago at least. I dont have the time now to read all this..
In the comments section for each guide's assorted pages, there is a drop-down window to filter for patch number. I checked the Arms Warrior guide pages; none of the drop-down menus have been updated to include 10.X. This needs to be done in the comments sections for all guide pages so we can filter no-longer-relevant comments about pre-Dragonflight content.
