Tbh just hardcap the ranks weekly and be done with the 50 progress idiocy beyond the 4th hunt. Let people grind as much as they want if they fall behind, even if they leave it for the last week of the season.
Basically Preys already dead and wasted resources.

It's so quick to do even a nightmare prey, so just knocking out those four weeklies is a no-brainer. Especially since it adds Hero-level loot to the great vault tally as well, for those of us not doing M+ or raiding.
In other words: stop doing Prey because you are wasting time.Blizzard, stop with these catchup changes. If people want to get the same stuff, let them do the same work like others are doing now. Stop with the shortcuts.
Blizzard, please just let us no-life grind Prey if we really want. I mean -some- of us are doing three nightmares a week on our alts for the catchup gear and delve flute anyway... why bother timegating the rep? (No, I don't consider the additional 50 rep to be even worthy of notice...)I mean, it's really nice how we could grind out Delve progress with alts.
Nightmare is ridiculously easy now. I suggest anyone reading this to give it a try. Take the one in Eversong, Fly out to the designated spot on the map. Do the thing till its completed, then hunt around the map for traps to deactivate or for the minor spawns to conjure/murder. You can finish this is ten minutes. I'd suggest 280 ilevel but it depends on class.The next easiest will be in Zulaman. Do the exact same thing. Then either do the Harandir one or the Coiled Isles one. Just keep your eye out for the traps that fall out of the sky--- so keep moving. Use your Recuperate. If you have a tank class, use them as your try-out character to see if you are comfortable doing these. Seriously, you can do them. They are nothing like S1 Nightmares...
I ground out delves with alts last week and am maxed already on that journey - so why can't I do this with prey? I am reduced to doing the 4 for rep only with only the vault on alts making it a worthwhile exercise. Let the grinders play please!
How long will it take Blizzard to let us take prey for each map together and not have us, like complete idiots, have to take them one by one?

Prey is for decor, toys, and ensembles. It would be nice to increase the amount of anguish looted or decrease the prices, but it's pretty much ok atm. What we need the boost for is the delve journey. I can't do 1000 delves for Valeera lvlup, please add some serious boost for 1st delve a day or smth.
I don’t like the constant catchup mechanics. Diminishes the effort of everyone before.
After !@#$ting over all players that started prey in s1 too late, now they make a catchup. Too late. Dont care anymore.
