Can't wait to put my trust in every single PUG leader and hope that 'this time' there isnt a group breaking disagreement, ninja or 30 min break to figure out who 'deserves' the loot.
Back in mists I was looking for a guild and found some peeps running some dungeons. I went on the my first raid with them to Siege. They started referring to the raid as a ninja raid and I was confused, but didnt think much of it. We filled the raid group up with pugs and killed the first boss. When it was time to hand out loot they asked in guild chat if anyone needed any of the loot. When someone said yes they just gave it to them. Never told the pugs this was the way they where going to hand out loot. When the pugs complained the just told them they could hand out loot however they wanted to and to just deal with it. The pugs all left and the started looking for more to fill the spots. I gquit right then. That why I think personal loot should stay.
Master Loot is only good if you're in a good guild with good Guild Leaders. If they bring it back I will feel really bad for people in bad guilds, with leadership cliques, who favour their friends/themselves.For most people Personal Loot is best and it should always be an option to toggle it on or off if they do bring back Master Loot. Just my two cents. :)
Please NO MASTER LOOT.I don't want to see raids in LFM with "All priest gear reserved"... it's terrible for pugging. Only let it in guild groups if anything but please keep it away from pugs - no more ninja looting!
I guess most people only read the headline and not the actual transcript of the conversation. Ion clearly says, multiple times, that he wants to bring back some different kind of "master loot" which will tackle the current issues (non-trade able personal loot) while still keeping everyone satisfied. Honestly, he's just saying he wants to change the loot system to something better than now. To me it only seems like Ion said "master loot" in a play of words to keep the audience satisfied. The things he actually talks about afterwards are about improvements in looting and not about master loot at all.TL;DR: Calm down people and read the whole transcript - the original master loot won't be coming back.
