Just play the original version. It was and still is great.
You can play Reforged in Classic mode, which uses original WC3 graphics and sprite-based models
Not sure which is funnier, stating that a game has had positive alpha testing, or only linking your own site's take on it. Or that Blizzard finally gave in and called in help for W3 Reforged from other resources, but seemingly just gave up on Shadowlands when they delayed it and then failed to actively work on endgame stuff. So they got help from other departments (which users here and on the forum seem to state time and again can't happen for WoW patches/ xpacs) for W3 Reforged and because it failed (which as the article points out, was pretty much going to fail from the start) we're gonna be out of luck for them trying it again in the future.Rules for succeeding (not all but certainly helpful): Set accomplishable goals. Make the best product you can. Be transparent. Admit to/ learn from mistakes. I think a number of us can agree that this article showcases a failure on all parts.
Now, can we see that split we all want? Screw Activision. Take their COD games, to this day, the first game they released - CoD 1 - is on steam selling for a full price of 20 euros. A game that's more than 10 years old. With a price tag that is standardized for all of their older titles. To be honest, it looks like a clear cash grab/ripoff when all of your older titles sell for the same amount of money, and you discount them to such an extent as to not go below 10 euros. Compared to newer titles by the same developer which don't lose their prices so easily and are priced not too much higher than those old ones. Except the newest game of course. That says a lot about the company. I mean, i have seen developers who sold much more copies of their game and still discounted it at times lower than 10 euros. Yet that game still has value and is played by more concurrent players at the moment than any of the old Activision titles. This tells a lot about the developer again. In my opinion, these 2 should split and be done with it. Activision should boil in their own juice, not capitalize on a lot of Blizzard fans and players who just want to play those "Blizzard quality" games. At least, the one they used to have.
Fans always keep extremely high demand/hopes for unbelievable standards and it's always to please us. Pandemic has made the situation even worse. People lost the last bit of their empathy.
The worse part is, they knew it was garbage, released it anyway thinking we'd be to dumb to notice. It is sad that Bli$$ard has this low of an opinion of its fans. Sad how the once mighty have fallen to the almighty dollar.
How interesting that the post few days we’ve not been able to comment on the actions this company has started taking due to there companies personal issues. Saying that, please leave our games alone. What’s going on in the games isn’t the issues. It’s what’s going on outside of the game that’s the issue if someone must point it out. Making changes inside games isn’t going to save you as-. You should be firing people and focusing on making people’s work environments safer. To finish, also think about why your numbers are so low over the past two years. Maybe there’s more changes that need to be made then meets the eyes. I personal think someone with deep pockets needs to buy your company out before your company destroys some of the best mmo created.
