Blizzard To Improve Leveling Experience in Ardenweald and Revendreth - Temp XP Beta Boost In Meantime

Correct.

As we work through issues that are making leveling through Ardenweald and Revendreth slower than intended, we’ve seen some Beta testers reach a point where they have to spend extra time finding XP in order to complete the Revendreth campaign.

We’re creating a more comprehensive fix, and that’s going to take a few days, but in the meantime, this is a Beta hotfix that boosts quest experience in Ardenweald and Revendreth, so that testers can have a smoother leveling experience in the meantime.

Only having just hit Ardenweald myself, I can't personally comment on XP gains from those two zones. However, leveling rate feels appropriate from the first two zones, not insanely rushed like it was at BfA launch. Skipping the optional quests in both Bastion and Maldraxxus still got me to 16% into 55 by Ardenweald, warmode disabled the entire time.

Bastion is a 50-52 zone, but before you leave the maw you're almost already level 51, and in some cases you can be level 55 before you leave bastion, if you do the campaign and all side quests, meaning you not only outleveling bastion but also maldraxxus almost instantly.

and Revendreth do need a big exp gain boost. I tried to level within the level bracket for each zone.
If you go to Revendreth at level 57, the starting level for that zone, there wont be enough quests to reach level 60 with wm off.
Ardenweald also got that problem. the zone is from 55-58 without enough quests to reach level 58, but you can leave the zone at 57 and go to Revendreth (where you end up encountering the Revendreth xp drought).

tbh maldraxxus might be the most "balanced" zone when it comes to xp gain and staying within the level bracket, just sad the zone feels so empty.Comment by AdmThrawnInstead reverting those stupid changes they did at the start of August (and removing exp buff from WM) they again do something many people did not want.Comment by hobbidaggyI just hit Ardenweald last night, I think I am just over lvl 55. Yesterday I did approximately 108 pet battles to get me to 60. I am glad they have adjusted this.Comment by KaesorI reported this issue 1 month, or more, ago...I guess better now than never
