Whats the point in reading blizzard stuff? They will just retcon it all and make it pointless.
What is wrong with you, people above? Retcon? I've read many books and all of it consistent with both game lore and other books. Wowhead posted an "ad"? You are getting all the new information as fast as you can, for free, and this post distracted you to waste your precious few seconds? What an idiotism.Want this artbook... wish it was sold in kindle edition :(
You'll probably enjoy all of these franchises a lot more if you take a break and read something completely unrelated. I've enjoyed some WoW novels when I'm taking an extended break from the game (like, missing an entire expansion).
I clicked on this article thinking it was some kind of summer reading that was going to be educational. Maybe some stuff geared toward programming, fantasy world building, or art creation. More for young/older teens. I didn't realize it was an ad for Blizzard junk. It's my own expectation bias and in no way Wowhead or Blizzards fault. Still though, a little dissappointing.
Summer, vacation is coming... but no Dragonflight prequel book.
Personally my favorite WoW reads are the Warcraft: Legends comic/manga series. Short stories that do fun worldbuilding and show the lives of many Azerothians, serious or silly. There are some meh or cringy tales, but also some extremely epic ones that stick to your brain a long time after.
I bought the first pressing of the D2 vinyl. Now there's this over the top box set, and the only thing I want from it would be the rubber and cork record plat mat. One does not need a Horadric Staff pin, or a Cinematic Scroll to listen to music on vinyl. Going to go steam my prunes and Weetabix for breakfast now, and then maybe yell at a cloud later. :)
