"Good." - someone who doesn't push into mythic content where the mechanics that blizz designs is nearly impossible to do without the use of addons.
As a multiple CE player who mostly use basic dbm timers and WA mostly for spell duration/timers/procs - there wont but much difference , but for the people who chase world first up to the remaining "Hall of Fame" guilds , thats gona take a while to get used to. Nowdays i see kill vods and streamers which have settings that not only speak every single mechanic but also speak some of their spells and whatnot which kinda kills the whole purpose of the game in my opinion.
Okay... but if they do this and keep the mechanics at the current difficulty (in mythic) it's not going to make the game more fun, but less. Hopefully they see that as a problem.
Meh, I mean I like it, but now it will be harder to find good players. Some people are bad at mechanics with the adding, imagine what it will be like if they don't have them...
There's 100 ways this ends up worse for players but it was inevitable. Let's see how well they implement it and design fights.
Can't wait for all of these "freaking finally" players to be whining that they're being killed by too complicated of mechanics.
I hope something like this can slow down and possibly turn back some of the INSANE power/scope/mechanic creep in this game.I hate how fights are created now, its a diarrhoea of mechanic sludge. You don't get to really enjoy the fight on higher difficulties cos you have to watch all your WAs. Depending on the complexity of the class/spec you are playing, this can be magnified.It is easy to see why Classic is doing so much better in terms of raid participation, backed up by WCL data.The game would be better with no mods, but that is an impossibility outside of a tear down and rebuild for a WoW 2.
So i guess they are also getting rid of all the visual clutter? all the endless swirlies/spells that look almost the same as the ground, or bodies of water? all the protodrake designs with massive wings that block your vision during crucial moments? all of my guildies spells that further block my awareness of the encounter? abomination limb/darkness obscuring the ground and not allowing me to see if i'm about to get hit by a tiny swirlie that's smaller than my hitbox in half a second? bad optimization that even high end pcs lose fps? right? RIGHT?
