I've had this really awesome and foolproof solution that has been in place for years.It's called: "Not giving a s*** about PVP"
We need more balance in classes as well, what we usually face are either burst paladins, rogues with their never ending cc's, convoke druids etc. And they are playing the optional covenant too. When I picked mine, I chose it for the lore and aesthetic and has good abilities, not what's BiS in PvP. Should get options to stand a chance against those players.I hope they find a way to balance out actual pvp matchmaking... my guild trying to get the Spider mount as a social event, and so far we faced mostly boosters (mounting up the Gladiator mount just to flex on a smurf account), this is really killing the gameplay in my opinion. Most of the time the enemy teams were people with high rating and someone with 0 or a bit low rating so that's how "balanced" the game is atm..
People who cry about solo queue really need to spend more time socializing in mmo. You can't treat this as a solo game and solo queue can't work in a type of pvp that we have in wow. Even if they make rated solo queue they shouldn't tie any rewards to it so we would have skirmishes with a rating number besides them and skirmishes are a total mess exactly because they are random. It just doesn't work in wow and Blizzard knows it
what about the boosting community? why not limit people from playing with others outside of their bracket like if you're 2.4k you have no business queuing for ranked with someone who is 1400-2000. I guess boosting does pay for wow tokens so I can understand why it's not looked at more.

Why isn't blizzard implementing an actual modern matchmaking system. There is no reason why they can't have something similar to games where the focus is teaming with other players, like Overwatch or Dota. I don't think it's much to ask to automatically find a group with like-minded players, especially for battlegrounds. The system is beyond ancient
And here i thought they'd actually do something about boosters and ungeared ppl being forced to play vs elite geared ones
I'm afraid Blizz's mind has gone out the window this expansion. I'm playing less and less - there's just no point for me. I've played consistently since 2005 (aside from a break during WoD because of grad school). So for someone like me, this is a big deal. I love casual PVP but they've made it almost meaningless, and rated PVP is corrupted by boosting. There's no content or rewards for the other 95% of PVPers, and thus they are leaving the game with all the bored PVErs. Way to go, Blizz!
Nice so they won't fix any true problem about PvP, great.Probs about PvE players with 220 gear to 0 from 1.8 cr, same for boost, etc..A good solution would be to set the ilvl about the rating you chose to play.=> Making some cap to play like "Tag in 1.600-1799" => ilvl down to 213 maximum.=> PvE gear stats reduced by 75% in ranked PvP (the nerf would be light in non-ranked PvP like random bg's/arena, warmode, etc.. to let people farm basic PvP gear of course)=> PvE trinket simply disabled in ANY PvP activity, including warmode. (like you don't wear trinket)=> Damage and tankiness for Tank Spec in PvP reduced by 75% in ANY PvP activities. Tank are an aberration. When I play mine in PvP it's just ridiculous how I can't die and can stomp a whole team..=> And of course bring back a (better) PvP stat..This kind of simple things would improve the game so much and make it really better.

Well, what about BG? It's not very fun to play on smol honor lvl against teams, where it's x10 higher and players are logically most experienced than your team with 15-30 honor lvl VS 300+
Delete boosting. (mainly)Improve LFG and mmr by preventing elite players queue in low cr.
