some would say fun detected, some would say meta detected. does meta detected make sense though? seems like the covenants in shadowlands will still have a meta, just like which classes to bring to a group will have a meta, and same with raids. that being said, what's the point? if these other areas of the game have a meta and people choose to follow it, while others choose to play their way, why is there being a meta way of leveling by WoD being the most time efficient method a bad thing? if the game is all about choice then people will still choose to level through other expansions.
Eh, saw this coming. Oh well.

Helping people through WoD with those WQs is one of the more pleasant leveling experiences that got us to play together. With the nerf there is no reason to ask other players for help. Every method of leveling through WoD is equally miserable after that change. Good job, Blizzard.

This was to be expected. Leveling in WoD would have been too quickly and limited choice of leveling expansions with Chromie Time had these change not been performed.
Wonder if theres a siren, or a klaxon QI style in Blizz offices that goes off anytime Fun is detected..?
This is the stuff they're working on instead of fixing De Other Side.

Did anyone honestly think they were going to get away with leveling in WoD? Blizzard was going to get this and I am surprised not sooner. That’s why I never considered leveling in WoD content. People will see how empty WoD leveling will be without the treasures and extra exp
Obviously it was going to get nerfed. Or else WoD would have been fasted with chromie tech.
You have to make sure people buy those level boosts somehow. They are a small indie studio afterall.
