It’s worth noting that the subject line of this discussion thread is exactly what we intend to do. We don’t consider it sufficient to issue a suspension and then have the offender log back in with their ill-gotten gains intact.

We’ll remove both the reward(s) and the kill credit(s) from any player who was actioned for having their account piloted.

If he stole the car, yes, you will gain no ownership. But the source of the money doesn't hinder the purchase or the gift to be legal. And you seem not to understand what I wanted to explain. If it was a championship which grants money for achieving a certain rank I'd say nothing against it. But this is just a question of achieving something digital which is worth nothing overall (except personal pride). And again: read my comparison! If it wasn't digital, Blizzard could not do anything about it. Why is Blizzard banning people? Because someone made money by helping people achieving something. Blizzard doesn't want you to get money by playing world of warcraft.

If he would gift a digital car it would be illegal because you can't own digital "things". You buy a movie (digital) on amazon? It is not your property, you just gained the right to watch it but it is not your ownership. Look up what a "dongle" is. It is really shocking.

So please, I didn't want to argue that it is legal to boost, I just wanted to demonstrate the actual problem of these terms and conditions. They can see info about the pc/laptop that was used.

If you happen to hire someone to play your account, it’s very likely he did it for many other people too on the same pc. It’s easy to find the pilot. After that, they just need to identify all the accounts he logged and done the achievement. So you are screwed.

Or should I say, your pilot screwed you. Cause it’s easier to get a pilot and check his logging info, than finding the people

If you happened to travel, but used the same laptop or a unique pc that no one else used to play wow, your chances to be banned are very low.

Banning your already disintegrating player base is disgusting and stupid. Got all back, but was wondering how they do it, Iwe been playing the game since tbc, Iwe never been suspended in my life till now thats why 🤔
