It's fine as long as they delete Tyrannical/Fortified first. We don't need 2 separate scores. Removing those useless affixes will also make M+ more balanced from one week to another.As for rewards, they should do mount from all +10, portals from +15 keys and some cosmetics from all +20.
If Blizzard are going to go ahead with their plan for a separate score for fort and tyrannical than this inbuilt score will mean nothing because we almost certainly ignore it in favour of what we have now and what is working.This however: Pushes blizzard to balance affix sets between one another IE: Tyrannical vs Fortified.If that works than go ahead and add any number of scoring systems to the game because currently that is the most garbage thing about M+ and honestly just needs to be scrapped to allow players to push any week they want and not pick and choose the dungeon based on the week.
I'm curious to see what they'll do to expand on M+ scores, but it'll do absolutely nothing for the crushing elitism even in lower keys
It's bad because of the two separate scores between Tyrannical & Fortified. Otherwise this is fine. If they went ahead as the system is currently, it's good. But alas, Blizzard has to make it theirs, and make it worse.
As long as we can see previous runs done and who with I can be on-board with it. Otherwise I'll probably stick with rio.

The new teleports they added are nice but really not that exciting, especially with flying available next patch, it will take probably less than a minute to get to your dungeon if you also use the engineering portal. It's a welcome addition sure, but I'm really hoping to see some exciting permanent cosmetic rewards (that isn't just another recolor of the timed all +15s mount)
Why are you calling this a "new" qualifying metric to not get invited? It has already been a thing with rio. People who want to make informed decisions already have. The only difference is, that this is built in to the base game and low level players, that didn't use to use it, now have it and can make more informed decisions as well.
Is there any information about alts? Having this scoring system is great but another aspect I haven't seen yet is if your main's score will show up when you queue with an alter, which is a very useful feature of the current version raider.io implementation.
Gatekeeping of all kinds is bad no matter how it is rephrased, reworded, or made into addons or whatever. Enabling anything like this is bad for games and society as a whole. I refuse to enable gatekeepers.
bad in terms of the fact theres literally an addon already and time coding should be spent on other ^&*!in stuff like removign stupid systems rewprling gearing so people arnt just handed gear making raiding gear 10 TIMES higher ilevel than mplus making pvp gear pvp gear and removing rating requirment to get pvp gear and make it cost conquest so getting the rating is fun and balanced aka just revamping the whole game back to classic bc and wrath then fixing it
This is a good change. It makes sense for this to happen since Mythic+ is a form of end game progression. PvP has rating and a leaderboard, so why can't Mythic+? The only reason why I see people complain are people with 300 score trying to apply to a 15+. That doesn't show enough experience at all. That's like trying to apply to a Mythic Guild that gets Cutting Edge every tier with 0 mythic experience. Plus I rather this be something in game and supported by Blizzard and not ran by a 3rd-party were things can get skewed or changed around (not saying r.io does this). All in all I personally think this a good step in the right direction for Mythic+. Now if only pushing those super high keys / world first key levels felt rewarding and motivating instead of giving you an X amount of score. (I know it was mentioned to provide more valor or whatever. I don't think that is enough.)Also! As every other Mythic+ player would say if you cant get into a group, bring your own key. :)
