let's hope it's better than the failure we got in TBC
About damn time, Blizzard. Now, just let us change our BNet tags and things will be golden.
Woot! Finally I won't have to pull up Mumble for one group of friends, Vent for my Alliance guild, Curse for another group, and Teamspeak for Horde guild. Horray!
Yea, changing Btags and also being able to talk in a chat that's not 3rd party? Now we're talking!
Finally pugs wont have excuses with "i dont have ts/ventrilo; i have problems with them"
Don't we already have a WoW voice chat that no one uses?
Wish I could get in on this one.I have a ton of questions/suggestions.Is there going to be an in-game integration, or an in-game overlay similar to what Overwolf has created for TeamSpeak app?will we be able to readily identify who is talking? Is there Guild build management (ie. rooms, a lobby, etc)? if not, there should be.will there be chat room Administration abilities (ie. Kick, channel privatization to speak with an individual privately, then return to main group, Mute individuals, etc)? Can we invite to an established channel for someone not in friends list?I got tons more, would love to get in on the ground floor now, instead of later on ;)still awaiting the Alpha invite, if ever goes through :/
hopefully since this one is through the app and not the client it'll work better than the last voice chat blizz implemented
Reading about this last year, I'm excited things are finally coming around. Not sure if they're still outsourcing the software or not, but if they are, this will be better than what's in-game of course. Then again, anything third party is better. If not, I think it will be better because it's tied to Battle.net client. Who knows, but I'm happy they're trying to fix things, because I'd rather use this than other programs.
One chat to rule them all, one UI to find them. One button to gather them all and in client bind them.
Bah dum tsh.
