Are u saying u exploited this bug for years without getting ban ?
Bad luck protection should have been there in the first place. No one wants to play a game where it could be years before they get said mount.

Sun Festival Painted Roc’s chance to drop in Satchel of Chilled Goods has been doubled for the first drop of the day on the account. The drop rate from the first satchel will continue to increase each day until it is obtained.My Question is..Why isnt this in from Day one? Its not the first "New event mount" that works like that.Alle new did since some time now.So why doenst this get checked before?
Any reason to run alts through has just been wiped out.

i had lots of "unopened" bags in my inventory and now they are all bugged out wont even open, hahaha why? oh punishment for turning auto-loot off? such an exploit oh boy, meanwhile actual game breaking exploits are all over the place yet no fixes no bans nothing. some strange isn't it

Its always amusing the amount of folks big mad over a something getting fixed that they knew was broken. They've been aware they're exploiting a system, but as long as wowhead doesn't post it.. it'll never be fixed (as if it wasn't being talked about on reddit).

Why are people hating on this change?After hearing about the bag, because I wanted the mount I felt I had to farm it on every alt AGAIN? I felt so bored and tired after 4th alt to continue trying today.Blizzard changed the system to fix that boring process so you only needed to try on your main. And people found exploid where you had to do on every alt.So now blizzard buffs your drop % chance immensely on your main 1 character so you dont have to do it on every alt borin grind and people are mad? Smh...I for one am glad that they increased the % chance for most of us who cba to log on so many alts.
This is a good change but it does make me wonder why they don't do this to begin with. Your first bag should be guaranteed an item that you don't yet have. We should be able to completely farm out the items that way. And if a person misses a day or so, they can supplement what they missed by purchasing items off the vendor with the event currencies. That way, we can either farm the dungeon once a day, farm the quests for currency, or combine the two. This RNG business on what should be a fun and relaxing holiday event has gotten out of control.

As much as I understand the change of a literal bug exploit, maybe they should try and understand why people bug exploit in the first place. We're *!@#ing tired of having to farm a stupid mount for sometimes literal years just because luck is not on our side. With events like this being available just 10 days a year, it's getting really old fashioned to not have some bad luck protection that would somehow garantee the mount at the end of the event. Wether it be through intense farming of the seasonal currency or a 100% drop chance after a set n° of tries
And they broke any existing Ahune Satchel of Chilled Goods that were looted before hotfix. Those now bug out and can't be opened or moved in inventory... WTF?
