Short answer for "yeah we're not doing transmog on lizards"
Hope they let us other Dracthyr classes to use this aswell and never get into dragon form since all other casts don't require dragonform
Just let the people choose their visage from diferent races, as dragons do
Yeah, let’s ignore the people who’ve been asking transmog for Dracthyr for four years now, and instead pander to the elf-lovers, who’ll still be unhappy anyway, since they’ll still have to turn into a nasty lizard… while playing as a lizard…
In my opinion, Blizzard is planning to introduce other races with the same type of ability in the future. They seem to be creating a system where transmog in the original appearance isn't necessary, since players will be able to stick exclusively to their human form!
Let us stay on visage 100% of the time or add tmog to the dragon model, it's really not that hard.
Bad move honestly. It's also the low-effort path instead of actually giving Dracthyr players what they wanted with more choice in Dragon form.
This is something I asked for back in DF. Time really moves slow in the real world.
I might actually play Aug or Dev with this change. Their gameplay is fine, but as a tmog enthusiast I don't like how limited the dragon forms are.
Finally, since they didnt go the Drakonid route and gave us these kind of dragons I havent really touched the dractyr since the visage form looks 1000% better than the dragon form. Next step is letting us have any race as visage forms with unique looks.
I am not unhappy about this, but it seem like the cop out rather than giving Dracthyr full transmog. Blizzard made the visage better looking than the actual dragon form.
Anything to not give their draconic forms actual transmog, huh?
Insane that dracthyr get all this while worgen players don't. You want to play Elf 2, you go be a dragon in combat.
As aways, instead of doing a decent work, we get this. I play lizard becausa i want to be a lizard, not some elf 2.0, give out lizard transmog and i wont even use visage
Stop wasting time on visage bandaids and give Dracthyr proper transmog.
For worgen players - deal with it - you choose to play as cursed human of Gilneas, so you draw your real strenght from your worgen form in combat. Outside of it - be in human form as much as you want. If you don't like worgen, play regular human.For crying druids - your entire class design is based on ties with nature and on shapesifting powers which will grant you strenght in combat - bear, cat or moonkin. Even as restoration you can have treant form or tree form and as moonkin you have glyph of stars. Again, class fantasy. Out of combat be whatever your heart wants to be.For dracthyr evokers - you choose to be a class which is based on experimentation of Neltharion. Yet you all cry you wanna be elves in combat. Not even the asepcts are fighting their fights in visage form but as dragons. The only thing I agree is the tmog - visage form transomg (shoulders, belt) should not be visible on dracthyr form. And dracthyr form should get either special tmog options in dressing room or more customization in barber shop.And then people are asking for Naga race - it will the same damn thing - Blizz will implement them and ppl bunch of snowflakes will start crying how they wanna look like regular night elves and not snakes.
Hover being included makes this essentially useless regardless of whether or not you like the animations. What a weird choice. Zephyr is also strange. I'd rather transmog more of my Dragon and have different races available for Visage form but what do I know?
