People stop asking them to uncap things that always had a cap to begin with not gonna happen.
This is listed as the "square root formula":
Should be Total DMG=100% * sqrt(# of hard cap / # of total targets) * (# of total targets).E.g., Total DMG to 19 targets = 100% * sqrt(5/19) * 19 = 51.30% * 19 = 974.68%
I like this change, not to hardcore and not to IonHCore, feel like a middle ground

All dungeons in SL were designed taking into the account the initial aoe cap the introduced. I cant believe they partially remove this cap. Sometimes they really should stop listening to the community. Initial AoE 5 cap was actually really good decision for long term perspective.
The equation can be simplified since x*sqrt(1/x) = sqrt(x)Or in other words the equation:Total damage = (Damage on One Target) * sqrt * (# Targets)Can be simplified to:Total damage = (Damage on One Target) * sqrtIt makes no difference of course, but the simplified equation only uses the (# Targets) variable once instead of twice.

Why cap some abilities at 5 and some at 8? That just seems to overcomplicate things for the player and the game balance.
