This sounds terrible because Blizzard is Blizzard and would never be able to even remotely balance this. If it's RNG that's even more gross.

Bro you can easily 4 man in time at this point. Hell you can probably 3 man them on a good week. The dungeons have been nerfed to the ground compared to what they were at launch.
I dont mean to be that guy... But why would you make something which is quite obviously supposed to be a competitive aspect of the game so rng heavy? Im fully aware that The game should not only cater to the people who are pushing the 28s/ 29s... but don't you think this is a little too far? I really hope they make the power selectable or implement it a different way to make it more rng proof. From what I see here volcanic plumage is going to be the better one of the two we've seen so far. Knocking all enemies up is a free interrupt/cc and if the burst thing isn't aoe capped then i see no chance for the other power to even compete. I have absolutely no reason to doubt that people will almost feel forced to reset keys to get the right power. It might be fun im sure, but I really hope this isnt as rng heavy as it looks to be rn.
I'm really worried about visual clarity.If I can spawn volcanic puddles with an anima power, and then volcanic puddles are also spawning due to the affix, it could be difficult to tell which ones are safe and which ones aren't. That'd get even worse with other affixes like storming, sanguine, or quaking.
We will have to see how much of an impact they have on high key level runs. Looks very cool though!
was hoping we'd get our class specific thorghast abilities. Like Condemn regardless of health% or summon one of the four horseman.
Ahahahahaha. They already have ruined the game with M+ by turning the game into Diablo (the concept of keeping dungeons relevant is good, how they did it is terrible) and now they figured out how to make it worse?
Waiting for new affix (whatever it is) to be tested on the PTR. Until then, I'll wait to see what it is.
Whoever wrote this article and said they would like to see anima powers changing every week, please do us a favor and just uninstall the game.
Boring affix, I thought there will be whole spectrum of anima powers we've seen already in thorgast (class specific with some kiss/curse mechanic) but this is just resident sleeper. This is going to be a boring xpac seems like.
