Aside from the Chi-Ji shoulders, this looks kinda like a rejected rogue set at first glance.
The shoulders are genius with the cranes on them. I actually love this set and think it will look even better on more different races.
lol you get a butthole
Not the worst we could have gotten, already tried some mogs on PTR using parts of the set and it blends well with other stuff.
Love the Chi-Ji theme, for once! As a male panda main, I have to wait to see this on one before I can make a judgement. So little looks good on us lol
The cloak is hideous, but the set itself looks okay. Not a fan of the texture on the boots; the idea is cool, the execution not as much.
Yep, it does look like a rogue set. Looks like Chi-Ji pooped out a Mortal Kombat fighter. The colors are also real ugly.
The shoulders, gloves and cloak are the only good things about this set. Otherwise it looks really meh, and missing out on 3d assets (Particularly the chest). Probably my least favorite set of the bunch alongside Hunter and Druid. Although the hood does make it look like it's a mortal kombat character.
Okami set! The concept is great, but it looks a little low definition if that makes sense. A bit blurry almost.
Not a hat? Amazing!
Bootleg Mortal Kombat character.
WoW art team should get some inspirations from the Saint Seiya anime series... First they completely messed things up by making the serpent related to a healing spec, and now a crane for all 3 specs lol... this is terrible
Pitiful set on a pitiful class. Pour one out for out monk brethren.
Imagine designing this set in this office, and then you walk over and see what the priest warlock and DK teams are doing. I'd be embarrassed
I am ok with the set though I agree 3D would have made it look a whole lot better. Not phased by the cloak either as I don't show mine since it hides your weapons. The only change I would make is the embellishment on the back of the belt (or at least I hope its part of the belt). That makes it look more like a gay pride costume/ poop hole than an armor set. Just removing the colorful "bulls eye" might make it look semi ok. If they don't remove that I would never use the belt / set as mog either.
Heed my words. There WILL come a day when the monk sets will be created by someone else who isnt a first year art school intern. We must only wait 10 more years and we will escape this hell. Maybe then more people will play monk. Fingers crossed! Lets hope that the priest designer will get bored and give monk a shot :)
Honestly it's not that bad.... the cloak is definitely not good though, I think this preview is just suffering from human body debuff
They should make a monk set inspired by Nizuao with some fluffy stuff and horns, or a set truly inspired by Yulon like the badass Xuen set from legion.
