Just downloaded it and it is quite useful for me who is just a casual these days, I had a hard time figuring out which ranks my corruptions were at.

So thanks for the spotlight!

Cool Addon.

I would think anyone actually concerned with the specific effects would already know the different names. Tiers are less intuitive and are a sorta different story, but I never expected an addon to exist for this purpose.

However, like many others running addons, my tooltips are incredibly bloated. I'm not excited about adding further to that. If an addon replaced those long paragraphs of corruption effect text with a shortended name, that would be awesome though. Cut down on the tooltip size.

Very good add-on for people like me who use raidbots ! :D

It still baffles me that blizzard gave names to every single one of these corruptions and then neglected to put them ANYWHERE in game.

All spells in the game have names, a lot of which you don't actually see in game.

Strictly speaking, there's no real need to see or know the names, it's just a lot easier to talk about them with others when using a common name rather than "the one that increases haste %".

I'm curious what other tooltip related addons you're running. There have been a few for Azerite, but Azerite cannot Corrupt, so that shouldn't conflict.

It is actually sad that you need an addon just so you know what rank or what the name of the corruption you got is.

Right? Sometimes it can be so frustrating, especially if you're actively raiding and need to figure these things out and having to look at 3 different websites for input.

Love it! shame the addon devs keep having to fix the game for blizzard =( think thats the 8th addon i have gotten this expasion that fixes things blizzard were to lazy to do propely

On the one hand, looks like a nice addon. On the other hand, it shouldn't need to exist.

I must say I have no idea how some corruptions are named, I have one that procs versatility when hit, I think it's "surging vitality" because it shows on buff bar, but then I have another that gives 9% extra haste and no clue what's the name of that.

Downloading this addon insta!

Edit: downloaded and it's named "expedient 2", thanks for this very useful addon.

Awesome addon. It's a shame it even has to exist though. Blizzard should have made this part of the default UI.

Finally. Now I'm not gonna have to keep explaining to my guildies about corruption ranks every 2 minutes.

Comment by Chroniclz

Does corruption scale only with its own level or its efficiency depends on item level as well?

Comment by shadey81

people shouldn't even have to make mods like this, it should be something blizzard does as standard.

Comment by qaccy

This addon's just a QoL improvement, it's not really something vital that Blizzard 'needs' to have put in the game themselves.
