Sheesh, that's quite the pain for soulshape collectors (if there are any). We REALLY need the event to be active more often, if not non-stop because of the m+ in it.The Legion m+ is very ambitious, and if it ever becomes availabe to play at all times i'm really gonna be happy. The system itself already makes repeating dungeons not boring, if they slap 5-10 new dungeons on top it's gonna be even better. We could get back BfA m+ at this rate...
TW should be rotating every week or every other week instead of every 3-4 weeks as it is currently. The amount of time it takes for each one to show up is extremely long.
I agree, with the amount of content tied to Timewalking now, it should be active all the time. If the cycle could start with BC and change weekly towards Legion, it would still take several weeks to gain acess to all vendors, not even mentioning the amount of badges needed to buy everything. Now, it requires several months, and if you miss the correct week you have to wait months for it to show up again. It's not fun, it's not even challenging or logical. In its current state, Timewalking heavily favors "passive" participation, of doing the once-per-event quest for 500 badges on as many alts as possible. Because the event only lasts a week, if you dont have a bazilion alts, you are kind of forced to spam Timewalking dungeons with low-effort players who are only there for the 500 badges quest. It's not a lot of time for a casual player to earn a significant amount of badges. With Timewalking active all the time, these casual players could easily earn the badges at their own pace, without worrying about a few months of wait if they don't.I'm against spoon-feeding rewards, but this is just stupid. Just like Legion archeology - you miss a very tight time window to do something - too bad, wait another eight moinths.
Wish other covenants had stuff going on its kinda %^&*ty NF and Venthyr are the only ones with things going on
you cannot put it every week as it substitute normal dungeons on stuffing phasis (for people who go to normal mode)... i really think they should upgrade TW to heroic stuff :(
I'm Night Fae, and I haven't seen the bunny/rabbit soul up yet as a daily pet battle reward, and the only reason I know is bc I check them every day on my journey towards 10k tokens to get that epic pet from the vendor...
Are Soulshapes account bound or per character?
They're character bound, sadly.I hope they "realize" (they already know) how anti-player that is and change it accordingly (along with many other covenant collectibles such as dredger stuff, necromancer outfit stuff, and so on).
Timewalking needs to be all the time and simply rotate which expansion each week. Having a week every 5 weeks to have another go at stuff is no big deal (similar to Darkmoon), having a chance only every 5 months is just ridiculous.
Honestly, at this point timewalking/queuing for old dungeons/raids needs to be incorporated into the core game and not be dependent on a event that rotates between the expansions. Waiting weeks on end for a specific expansion's event to be active is pointless and insanely annoying. The event itself can still happen with giving us a quest to do x5 of whatever expansion of the week. It doesn't make sense why we have to wait until the event goes live to do those timewalking dungeons.
