Activision Blizzard Preparing for More Layoffs in European and Latin American Offices

"We have shared plans with our teams in Europe for how we would evolve as an organization, adapting to this change to serve our players and best positioning the region for future growth. Cutting expenses (aka layoffs/employees) is routinely done as revenues do not always outpace growth. The largest component of expenses is employee pay. Executives make these decisions to elp achieve profit targets (revenue - expenses = profits).
