Man.. holy paladin has turned into such a @#$% spec. I wish I can return to it but I refuse to play this flash of light and holy light infusion juggle nonsense.
It sucks that they are doubling down on the Holy Light/Flash of Light casts. For a melee healer it doesn't feel very melee... The spec just needs to be scrapped completely, combo point systems for a healer just doesn't work, they need to get rid of it and make something new, the spec has limped along long enough
I really miss the Glimmer of Light playstyle.
Needs a complete rework, what a mess this spec has become.An even more shocking finding is the fact that holy pal has been buffed a HUGE amount since Midnight beta, its amazing that the spec went live as weak as it was.
Damn. I really miss melee wings. Shame they nerfed it to the ground making it unplayable.
I never run low on mana in dungeons as holy this season and I never have to stop and hard cast a heal. Why are we swapping to hard casting?

They have absolutely ruined this spec in the most spectacular fashion you cou;d ever imagine... what a dumpster fire... we need new class Devs this is unacceptable.
maybe they should just split the play styles by hero talent; herald is holy shock focused light smith is infusion of light focused
If I wanted to be a caster based holy healer, Holy priest is there. Holy paladin should be in melee, and go back to the no casting build it had.
Need them to change the Mistweaver tier set so that we aren't literally FORCED into fist/hybridweaving. I want to play a CASTER healer and I want crackle to be competitive.
WotLK Holy Paladin FOREVER! Holy Light as fast as Flash after one cast super strong healing maybe only for st but still I enjoyed it the mostthat's what I call the power of "Light"
Honest, the spec should be focus on a fast pace melee style with Holy Shock and WG/LoD as the main spells. Get rid of Infusion of Light all together and bring back glimmer. I kinda like the builder/spender style of play when it isn't tied to hard casting. And Glimmer let you decide who to add extra healing to. Everything in our main rotation should be instance casts even if that means each spell is slightly weaker than other healers hard cast spells. The idea would be 2-3 instant cast spells in the same period as 1 hard cast of another healer would equal the same HPS.Holy Light and Flash of Light should be merged as a fast, huge heal but high mana cost. The type of spell you cast when you know the tank is able to get hammered for the next 8 secs before going back to normal rotation. The type of spell where you get 3-5 cast before OOM but would save the tank.It would also be cool is they changed LoD to have a damage component to it that can act. Like the pally denouncing those that attack our allies which at the same time healing them. Similar to Shammy Acid Rain. Not alot of damage but something that gives us a little more, specially in keys.
I think honestly this is easily fixed by adding an additional requirement to the proc. Something like "After pressing holy shock, your next holy light has a 100% chance to provide you with infusion of light" but maybe that's a bad idea idk just throwing an idea at the wall. That way it doesn't get rid of the playstyle (which people are generally calling fun" but makes holy shock do something useful instead of just feeling like a knockoff WoG.
