The drop rate was still terrible and by the looks of it just a time save on character swapping and not a drop increase at all. I personally hope the dev that implemented this pitiful change because they’ve never gotten the mount still didn’t get it.Comment by dblanch369Oddly enough, I did get the mount this year, but it was on the ninth day, and it was NOT the first kill of the day on my account. It was about #13 or 14 that day. Nice to hear the improvements all the same!

Farming this since the release, with 30+ characters every day of the event. I don't feel cheated, I feel that it took them too long to fix it.

And by no means I got it with the "higher chance". I kept doing it on all my characters everyday, because I couldn't trust that "buff", got it on the 6th or 7th character for that day.Comment by brunokbcaoThis reminds me of something, it should be nice to see the loot timeline distribution for "Dropped by" percentages. Or at least a "last seen" column. Sometimes we are tracking rare or ultrarare loots and are not sure if that drop is still the same, if the item still drops.

I really don't know why other people have an issue with low drop-chance mounts even to this degree. Not everything needs to be a skill reward and not all mounts are or should be equally accessible.

The MoP world boss mounts along with Ruhkmar's Solar Spirehawk were basically the Glad/Mythic mounts of legacy content. It was cool to see other people with something so rare and it actually felt prestigious when you got it. Coining Oondasta's a few years ago felt 100000x better than getting Sha/Galleon/Nalak's post-nerf at the end of 2022. I felt nothing when those dropped because it wasn't a surprise anymore, it was just like looting those 7% Arathi/Darkshore mounts from BFA

All in all hope they don't start buffing other mounts. Same with Voidtalon/Poseidus/TLPD scarcity being destroyed. It's not even out of self-preservation because I don't have the rocket, still don't have TLPD, and only had 1 of 5 world boss mounts pre-nerf ---- it's just way less interesting and less grand when nothing's outlier rare.Comment by NinslyNo wowhead that’s not how math works. The limited window to get it and hitting instance lockout soured the event for me by 2020. Also as I’ve noticed over the years since wod/legion (even independent of how short the fight is) people have grown more and more anti-social. That’s the real unseen rot. Probably adds a bit to why people dread this event. There’s just no fun in it. Just wait, pull lever, get dissatisfaction.Comment by MeilinnStill hoping to get that mount. As for my personal feelings.
I've farmed this mount on 30 plus characters a day since it was first avaliable. I still do not have the mount.

And while I'm happy for the people that have it because atleast they don't have to suffer the grind, how is it fair that people can get it first try and other have thousands of attempts over the years.

It's just way less interesting and less grand when the array is curbed.Comment by FalawynIt is still way too low for a yearly event, especially when this mount only have 2 other mount with the same model, those 2 being tcg making them quite rare or expensive to get, i think blizz should either add more "rocketlike" mount in the game or juste give this mount same droprate as other yearly event mount.

Nobody should have to grind that long and that hard for such a neat mount. I'm glad that more people will have access to it without the soul-crushing, panic-inducing grind of devoting their entire playtime for multiple weeks just for a miniscule chance of a hope of seeing a drop.
