I wonder if you race change an existing level 109 to an Allied Race then ding 110, if THAT would unlock the Heritage Armor?
There are achievements like Heritage of the Void: Earn level 110 on a newly created Void Elf character. Reward: Void Elf Heritage Armor
A little sad to see DX11 becoming the minimum, but it makes sense. My craptop should still be able to run Classic, and I have other computers.
Better not give Alliance any OP racials - they gotta stay on Horde, right... -.-
Does that mean OpenGL support is dropped? RIP playing wow on my MacPro 2009 :(Only have opengl as an option https://imgur.com/a/Btg7C
This may be a stupid question but I was confused based on the warnings: will World of Warcraft no longer be supported on iOS?
I have an 2011 27inch near top model iMac, 3,4Ghz with i7 sandy bridge processor, 1GB graph card that runs perfectly fin in 2.5k on 27 inch screen, and you are telling me that you are just dropping ALL SUPPORT to macs that aren't using METAL? Sooooo many of us have machines running OpenGL. Metal wasn't introduced till 2014! Imagine having a PC that was top of the line 3-4 years ago, and now blizzard decides that you just can't play on it... If this goes through... oh my.EDIT: Most that are from late 2012 and up are supported retrospectively i see now. But some 2013 models aren't.
While I understand your sentiment, a 1 GB graphic card wasn't top of the line 3-4 years ago by any stretch of imagination.
Blizzard also updated the system requirements website for World of Warcraft 4 days agohttps://eu.battle.net/support/en/article/76459
My friend will be mighty pissed about this. When not raiding or running instances he likes to lie in the bed with his old crappy laptop farming old raids and stuff. I feel for you guys, but lets face it, tech advances and sometimes you need to update your hardware. As a fun fact I leave you with the system requirements for WoW at its release date at the end of 2004:Windows 98/ME/2000/XP800 MHz or higher CPU32 MB 3D graphics card with hardware transform and lighting, such as GeForce 2 or better4 GB or more of available hard drive space256 MB or more of RAMMacOS X 10.3.5 or newer933 MHz or higher G4 or G5 processorATI or NVIDIA video hardware with 32 MB VRAM or more56k or higher modem with an Internet connection
