Nah, people will still die to devour.
Doesn't really fix any issues that are causing wipes in LFR...
The trolling is people using the portals when not ready. This won’t fix anything except where people die.
So....your saying the trolls can now teleport everyone to there death easier thnx ! Not lol
About time the mercenary acquisitionist got nerfed. That dude was way overtuned.
I still can't get my head around how BAD people are at the devour mechanic.I try my best not to be judgemental when it comes to misplays, raids can be hard to manage especially when you're trying to remember what to do whilst under pressure. That being said the sheer amount of PUGs i have joined, even in more recent weeks, where the entire other half of the raid doesnt grab a single orb is stunning. The fact it is in LFR truly boggles my mind given how LFR is where thinking goes to die. I'm very glad I've not bothered with it this time.
It's an extremely poorly designed raid boss altogether. That's the actual problem. Doesn't matter which difficulty it is. There is nothing enjoyable about this encounter at all. Every phase of it is just annoying.
Is there still lightning that one shots you while traveling at the wrong time? What a fun mechanic to deal with. Just so much fun. Nothing better than being stuck in travel getting one shot and then going to an end boss where now one person will launch everyone across, which is perhaps more of a satisfying troll than simply causing the normal wipe. I dont know why they cant just get lfr right. It should be dumbed down and tuned so easy that stacks of determination shouldn't exist. Is lfr really doable if everyone is minimum ilvl and not a great player? How many stacks do they need, how long does that take?
The last two changes to story mode just boggle my mind. With those changes, queueing for story mode might as well just be a movie, or tuned like a legacy raid. Just have players one shot phase 1, one shot each intermission add, one shot phase 2, play movie. They basically looked at what would kill people on story mode and said "Oh whoops, we'll take those out. We want to make sure that it's literally impossible to die/wipe in story mode." Like what's even the point of it, other than to show the story and give you a runed crest to make a piece of gear that you don't need for casual content?
Are people actually having issues in lfr? the only time i ever wiped in there was due to someone entering portal too early LOL. They should have left this alone and only touched mythic. kinda crappy ngl
Actually curious to do it on LFR now just to see what it's like...I'm boggled at some of the boss effects they've been leaving in on the LFR modes lately. They've been really expecting some surprising fight knowledge & coordination from the uncoordinated group, light'n'fluffy mode gamers.
