Not gonna lie, if that Hexagon "WoW's Darkest Secret" was real that would definitely be the creepiest thing in the game.
I like these kind of posts. some of those things were actually new to me :D
I literally didn't know today was Friday nor did I know it was the 13th. I hope blizzard remembers the whispering forest and does at least a small questline.
I really enjoyed this read.
Fun fact about Newman's Landing, it's also the location that freshly created characters appear at during the first login. They are then teleported to the appropriate starting zone during the cutscene that plays after they log in. If you stand there and look at the dock, sometimes you can see new level 1s pop into existence for a split second and then disappear.
Nice article. Wish you would do more of these type of articles. The game is so big I bet you could do a weekly article of just interesting things found in game.…. Article
It's small stuff like these that really make me miss the blizzard charm. The attention to detail in the old world. Especially Lordaeron. I never knew that cutscene was actually implemented in the game just by ghost form.
I would have kind of like to see things like the hidden plaque under org, or maybe old ironforge. Since these are places you're kind of forbidden from going.
I was exploring the hidden room at the end of scarlet monastery late at night the first time Xal'atoh, Desecrated Image of Gorehowl talked to me, before I knew that was a thing it could do.
Remember the upside-down sinners underneath old Karazhan? Nasty.
nice article, thank you!
Another cool creepy thing in Lordaeron was the fact that you could use See Invisibility above ground and see all the neutral Citizens of Lordaeron ghosts wandering about.
we need more kind of this still makes the game mysterious
Also, First Mate Fitzsimmons in Menethil Harbor. That got updated to a creepy quest.
Love this kind of articles, thank you!
stuff like this made wow so awesome i hope they add stuff like this going forward that isnt found for years to come.
How can you forget the upside down sinners?
This was a nice read! It's always fun to read about small things that you might not notice by yourself.
