DRACTHYR

New Passive Ability: Empowered Soaring – Soar is now equivalent to dragonriding, granting access to vigor and all dragonriding abilities.
New Passive Ability: Expedited Takeoff – Soar’s cooldown is reduced to 10 seconds.

Developers’ note: Soar dragonriding will become available after learning dragonriding on the account and the Evoker has completed the Forbidden Reach starting experience.

Familiar Skies (Racial) has been removed.

More Dynamic Flight Updates Coming in The War WithinFlight Form will receive a Dynamic Flying update

What is done with the ability to fly upwards by pressing space.

When all the other mounts in the game is instant.Comment by CMOK34they should give DH this skill tooComment by CMOK34The only issue is currently on the PTR there is a lot of issues with Soar:

1. You lose all momentum when you change zones.
2. You can’t use Ride along.
((Suggestion)) Let players click on a Dracthyr in non Visage form to use Ride Along when it would be active.
3. Skimming the ground will bring you to a dead stop if you get too close, the size box seems off on this cause it looks like I’m not touching the ground some times.
4. You don’t get the benefit of the mining/herbing Vigor regen bonus cause landing takes you out of “Flight mode”.
5. You can’t use it for Dragonriding Races.
6. You can't use Bronze Timelock.
7. Aerial Halt doesn’t give a vigor charge from Airborne Recovery when using dracthyrs Soar.
8. You can't use Soar in water.
