Hearthstone's beta is coming this summer and we've got our first peek at the game's cards!
We've added all of the cards and Hearthstone data to Wowhead as a brand new section so you guys can browse Hearthstone updates while you're still using Wowhead. We've created filters, tooltips, and other features that you've come to know and love from using Wowhead--including our awesome image search that you've probably seen from our unique battle pet and transmog set features.
Check out our Hearthstone database now!
We've expanded our popular Wowhead tooltips to now cover Hearthstone Cards! We went with an information-based approach, opting to make our tooltips condensed and full of the card details.
If you've already enabled Wowhead tooltips on your site,

There are some major changes coming to World of Warcraft from the latest PTR patch. There's some really exciting stuff, including a new holiday and auras that will allow you to cosmetically alter your character to varying degrees. Both Perculia and I have been hard at work on the PTR getting screenshots of these changes and uncovering the latest details.
Oh, and one more thing: APRIL FOOL'S!!

Over the weekend, I interviewed Hamilton Chu, Executive Producer, and Ben Brode, Game Designer, about Blizzard's newest game, Hearthstone, which was just revealed at PAX East! I also got to try out a few rounds of this fast-paced lighthearted demo as my favorite classes--Rogue and Warlock.
We've also covered the artwork, videos, and the Official Press Release and Gameplay FAQ from Blizzard in Friday's post. Also check out Blizzard's Roundup for more fansite interviews and resources.
Hearthstone is designed to be an accessible and fast-paced online strategy card game using popular figures from World of Warcraft:

Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft Announced, Official Press Release, FAQ, and Artwork

Today at PAX East, Blizzard announced that they have had a fifth team working on another game. Comprised of fifteen developers, the idea was to make a great game that got back to Blizzard's roots by having something fun and less serious.
The game is called Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft and it is an online strategy card game. The official website is now live and so are the beta sign-ups. You can also follow them on Twitter at @PlayHearthstone and on Facebook.
Hearthstone is "a charming collective strategy card game set in the Warcraft universe." You can play as nine different mighty heroes with different focuses. There will be commons, rares, epics, and even legendary cards. It will be free-to-play with optional purchases for cards; there's also something called a crafting system, where you will be able to change your cards by disenchanting them into arcane dust which will let you build other cards.
