Delves Season 3 Guide - New Delves, Rewards, Nemesis

Por Zvez Actualizado: 07/08/2025

What's New With Delves for Season 3 of The War WithinMount:Deslizador de maná de surcabismosCompanion:

Brann will retain his levels moving into Season 3.

Brann's new max level is 100. Players who didn't reach the previous max of 80 will find that experience has been adjusted to let you hit 80 more quickly.

Delves:

There is one new delve: Asalto al Archivo

New treasures called Flickergates can be found throughout your Delves. These have a chance to reward you with Inframoneda and companion experience; however, they also have a chance to summon this season's Nemesis.

New ethereal-themed Strange Disturbances have been added.

New Delve variations have been added.

Use your Vendas reshii to unlock secret rooms with fun bosses and unique challenges.

A Delve Trinket vendor can be unlocked.

You can now find messages left by other players in Delves and see tombstones marking their deaths.

Recompensa de surcabismos will need to be unlocked in the Delver's Journey before they will begin dropping.

Active delve variations will now be displayed on your map.

Faction Race:

The Horde and Alliance can now race against each other.

The faction that completes the most delves in the allotted time will get to fly their colors in the Delver's Headquarters and unlock faction customization for their Dirigible de surcabismos.

Nemesis:

The achievements for killing The Underpin in Domo de Demolición are no longer available.

Princesa del nexo Ky'veza returns from Nerub'ar Palace as this season's Nemesis.

Completing the Delver's Journey

It takes 0 Travesía de surcabismos points to earn 1 Delver's Journey rank progress.

As there are 10 ranks in Season 2 of War Within, it will take a total of 0 Travesía de surcabismos points to reach maximum rank.

If you don't ever open any Bountiful Coffers and only complete Tier 8 Bountiful Delves, this will take approximately 280 Tier 8 Bountiful Delve completions, or 70 days for the season (with 1 character running 4 Bountiful Delves per day).
These numbers are reduced by Season Nemesis encounters and opening Arca abundantes with Llave de arca restauradas.

Delver's Journey is Warband-bound, so you can speed this up by running Bountiful Delves with multiple alts.

Season 2 had the best ? reward hands down

Comentario de Sigfreid

Did dwarven medicine get nerfed? Was healing for about 3m hp yesterday and about 1.5m today.

Comentario de revival

did anyone not get the quest to start this seasons journey? i haven't gotten anything

Comentario de Skittlys

Why am I getting x50 coffer key shards and not a full key from weekly things

Comentario de Getwasted

"The following table lists the item-level rewards from looting Bountiful Coffers in Season 2 and the corresponding Great Vault item levels." - did you mean season 3? or do we not know what season 3 will give?

Comentario de lordluthar

Thank you for the guide, some useful information.

However, there is no info when all this will be available. There are no Bountiful Delves, the Gateways room only has Dorn.

I've done all the Delves at lvl 9 and it does not appear Brann got any experience. Or at best, very little.

So when does all this go live?

Comentario de Ahjen

Season 3 doesn't actually open until August 12th. Right now doing a delve is a complete waste of time. A tier 4 delve gave me gray and white items worth 50 gold. The "upgraded" nemesis strong box gave me a Fragmento de vitral worth 10 gold.

I don't understand why Blizzard insists on their being a week of pointlessness after a season patch, but here we are.

Comentario de Seniri

Archival Assault is by far the worst experience I've ever had in a delve. It just takes too damn long, it's the whole ass instance repurposed for solo content.

Comentario de Koloff

How do you get to Xeronia? I use the Phase Cutter but it stops at the other side and drops me to the bottom every time. What am I missing?

Found in a Delve today

Comentario de Mikelovich

Delver's Journey is Warband-bound, so you can speed this up by running Bountiful Delves with multiple alts.

This is not entirely true, because you have a maximum of 28 (7 days x 4 bontiful) that can contribute to the Delver's Journey weekly. Anything over that will not contribute to it.

Meaning you can actually do all the contribution in a day through multiple alts, but the outcome will be the same as if you did 4 bontiful everyday in the same character, same as the previous seasons.

Comentario de songmistress

I would like my Delve tombstone to read "Brann pulled something he shouldn't have...again!" Nothing like carefully pulling the Nemesis elite group away from the boss just to have Brann AOE the area and pull the boss, too. *facepalm*

Comentario de Tyious

My first delve I have done today was a rank 8. I completed it and only got 200 for completing it and got no delver journey from the bountiful chest. I did get the quest item that gave 1500.

Is this correct? I thought you got journey from the chest and for completing it

Comentario de Connall

The Delver's Journey Awards listed above are either dated or wrong as I just completed two 11 Bountiful Delves.

I monitored my journey carefully from entry to end, starting with 2400.

I opened every chest with the Bountiful Coffer Chest last. I was 2400 before the last chest, 2700 after. After leaving the Delve I'm still 2700. So no reward from just completing the Delve, only the Coffer Key spend.

Comentario de unclevinny

The delve hub portals are going to non-bountiful delves today (8/13 in NA). It sent me to Tak-Rethan Abyss, for example, which isn't bountiful.

Comentario de Boreku

Thank you for this guide. Even though, I am not a big fan of reading in general, I just want to play and thought lets buy myself a shrieking quartz for a bountiful map. So the game punished me for not knowing this, great.

Comentario de Lizzey

Are you sure you get 150 + 250 Delver's Journey? After doing 2 Tier 11 delves and putting the quest in for 1500 Delver's Journey I am at 2100 Delver's Journey. So I would assume the combination of opening the chest and completing the Delve gives you 300 Delver's Journey and not 400.

Comentario de Sharpbladez

Currently getting 200 Delvers Journey progress for Tier 8 and 300 Delvers Journey progress for Tier 11 in Season 3 when opening a Bountiful Chest.

Comentario de Aerrye

The new "nemesis" this season can be summoned with an item called "Shrieking Quartz," it's the new Wave Scrambler for the season. I could never remember Wave Scrambler, and I will likely never be able to remember "Shrieking Quartz..."

Comentario de Adaren18

The vault rewards listed are wrong for season 3. A T4 vault rewards a veteran 4/8 piece while a T5 vault rewards a 1/8 champion piece.

Comentario de Nevermorr

So doing a Flickergate replaces the rest of the Delve you are currently on? Are we in general agreement that the rewards are worth it?

Comentario de hitschiefan

My Brann stopped leveling at 92. I still loot experience items regularly, but they don’t get applied. Unfortunately, I can’t find any information about a timegate related to Brann’s level.

Comentario de OldGromm

Here are my findings for the various currencies you can earn in season 3. The numbers are for Tier 11 and 8 respectively.

Note: The "Defeating the Nemesis" value will be rewarded when picking up the Nemesis Strongbox. This bonus may or may not be rewarded when getting the waygate skip and defeating the enemies there, I'm not sure.

Delver’s Journey:

Completion: 250/150
Bountiful Coffer: 300/200
Nemesis Strongbox: 125/80
Defeating the Nemesis: 300/200
Hidden Trove (aka using the map): 400/300

Resonance Crystals:

Bountiful Heavy Trunk: 45/45
Bountiful Coffer: 170/150
Shadowed Flickering Spoils: 45/45

Undercoin:
My findings from season 2 still hold up. Only thing that's changed in season 3 is that the new box (Shadowed Flickering Spoils) also drops Undercoin (125/75).

Brann Experience:
I didn't write down every number when leveling from 80 to 90, so I can only guess whether it scales all the time, or whether it starts increasing very few levels, or whatever.
My best guess so far is that completion rewards 30%/25% of a total level, and both Nemesis Strongbox as well as Shadowed Flickering Spoils can reward anywhere between 10-15% of a total level each.
It's fair to assume that, combined with all the enemy kill experience as well as a few Mislaid Curiosity pickups, you'll gain a new Brann level every two Tier 11 delves, and every two or three Tier 8 delves.

Comentario de Relic20

Delves are taking at least 45 minutes to complete. I don't think they were that long in Season 1 and 2. This feels a little much. I have a full time family to take care of. I don't have 45 minutes to do delves.

Comentario de TalisxRedstar

Anyone else stop getting xp in delves, and journey xp? I did like 5 yesterday before I realized, taht my brann that is at 97 and a half wasn't getting xp, and my delve journey had not moved past tier 4.

Comentario de Snippey

Brann's new max level is 100. Players who didn't reach the previous max of 80 will find that experience has been adjusted to let you hit 80 more quickly.

I neglected delves in S1&2 so my Brann is in his fifties right now. He's leveling about a level per delv (running only T11 bountiful delves atm).

I need to make at least 50 more delves to get him to 100 is not really what I consider quick. Is there something I am missing?

Comentario de crossfella

Did they change bountiful delve gear this patch? Every tier 5 delve I ran this week gave me 684 gear instead of 668.

Comentario de Baboocha

Is the Delver's Journey capped in some kind of way? Last week i did my 28 bountiful Delves for Season Progress: 17.775 / 42.000 . After it i did not got any progress from what ever. Now new ID/week. And the Progress is still not rising. Even the Weekly Quest "The Key to Success" seems not to give the 1.500. Someone with equal Problems?
If it is just some Cap Blizz should really just inform what is going on

Comentario de MentallyMature

I've been farming runed crests from delves lately and notice three things:

1- Runed crests are the crest that upgrading gear seemingly bottlenecks at for the kinds of players who clear eight +10 keys during the first week of seasons, so don't be afraid to spend extra time carrying under-geared friends through easy stuff because the runed crests will likely be handy later.

2- Delve mob scaling remains brutal for groups with undergeared people and, even with a dps who does 4.5-6M overall dps in dungeons, a five person 11 difficulty delve can take 20-45 minutes. Like last season, the solution is to solo or duo delves. In hindsight, I regret not spending more time running casual guildies' baby keys, so I wouldn't have to farm as many delves now.

3- From what I see, each delve trinket is fairly weak this season? None seem close to the level of Mechanocore Amplifier and Suspicious Energy Drink last season...yet, there's now a vendor to save us from filling three delve vaults weekly for 75% of the season...I guess it the thought that counts sometimes?
(Don't be shy--if a delve trinket this season has exceeded your expectations, let us know with a reply!)

Comentario de Elunario

The Delver's Journey progression appears to be time gated, and opens only 2 new nodes for each week of the season.

Comentario de Hotnhordey

Can someone clarify, if i'm capped on gilded crest an do a T11 delve do i still get the gilded crests?

Comentario de Braveharth

I don't understand the delve portal room in Tazavesh. Why wouldn't they label where each portal goes to? I get that it's for all CURRENT bountiful delves but still why not have these delve portals labeled like regular portals? All I know is the middle portal returns to Brann in Dornogal.

Comentario de Devolu

turns out, due to the buggy Etheral routing station is only available to a single party member.. once that boss is defeated, there is a special treasure room just for that person and the rest of the party misses out on all treasure.

Yet another untested feature.

(party members are all different factions)

Comentario de hitschiefan

Since today, Sir Finley Mrrgglton is no longer selling me any Restored Coffer Keys. Before the last reset, that was still possible.

Comentario de Jaclyn

Sidestreet Sluice this go round has to be the worst one. Mobs majorly clumped together and also agro through the floor in some places.

Comentario de wowshoulder

Anyone care to "rate" the trinkets from the new season 3 delve? i know they aren't bis in that regard, but i'd love to hear someones take on them compared to each other still.

Comentario de Keller68

my experiences:

Flickergates:

only spawns in the original instances; ie Skitter Breach - Shadowrealm; go search the instance before using the "story portal".
can spawn underwater
can spawn inside buildings
can spawn behind pillars and natural formations, but there's always a path to it (so no glitching or weird jumping required)
can spawn behind the "end boss"; ie Skitter Breach the plateau past the loot hut.
Archival Assault takes the longest time to find it, though I found it most often "hidden" underneath the bottom travel ring (I know I said no jumping, but sometimes you need to jump platforms to get into the side rooms

Ethereal Routing Station:

gives full reward compared to completing the scenario (with at least 1 life remaining)
full nemesis reward regardless of killing any nemesis pack
does NOT reward Flickergate, you still have to find it before completion, you found it? The reward box will be there waiting
Nexus-Princess Ky'veza can spawn here like in the normal instance, don't exactly know what the trigger is, but got her twice while killing x/beast ~ ethereals

note: Flickergates and ERS are not triggered or spawned based on objective(s) progress. I could often see a Flickergate or ERS before even talking to the starting npc / having 0%/x

Comentario de knocknoc

Rule 1: If you click on a flickergate 1 of 3 things will happen.
A: Nothing, but you will get a msg saying the rewards chest will appear at the end of your run
B: A baddie will pop out that you fight, then the msg will appear.
C: It will turn into an Ethereal Portal.

Rule 2; If you are farming the Ethereal Portal & it did not appear, leave Delve & restart it.
If you use an Ethereal Portal to skip to the end of the Delve, you will only get the bonus Flicker Gate loot if you clicked the Flicker Gate before activating the portal.

The Ethereal Portal always appears in the same location.
You must kill 1-3 packs of mobs for it to show up.

Earthcrawl mines: it's in the 1st room after clearing the hallway.
Kriegval's Rest: it's in the 3rd room.
Nightfall Sanctum: Go to the top where the cannons are. It's to your left.
Skittering Breach: It's to the right of the 2nd bldg. As a cool aside here, if you are in the version called Grasping Shadows, don't click on the circle, just run through the Delve to find the flickergate, click on it (see rule 1 above)
The Sinkhole: It's at the 2nd large open area. You can see it from the top of the cliff.
The Underkeep: it's at the midpoint.
The Dread pit: Come out of the cave, turn right, turn right again, go up the hill it's on your left.
Tak-Rethan: is at the bottom of the path to the left 59.1, 57.5. A side note If you are on the Robot story, You don't have to kill the Ethereal Elites just bomb them from the robot.
Sidestreet Sluice: At the mid-point stone
Fungal Folly: Next to the mid-point stone
The Spiral Weave: Where the 2 hallways merge back together
The Waterworks: In the 2nd room to the left of the bridge.
Mycomancer Cavern: At the midpoint stone. Be aware that flicker gates can be in the water.
Excavation Site 9: It's at the top of the hill before the md point stone @68,48
I don't remember, couldn't find or haven't run the others

Out of curiosity, I clicked on a flickergate, which turned into a Portal. I finished the delve, collected the treasure except for the coffer key chest (I was running an Lvl4), and then went back to the portal, entered it, and killed the mini bosses. The treasure room was completely empty. When I went back through the portal, the treasure room still had the unopened coffer key chest.

Comentario de smtips

Seems delves have stopped dropping anything worthwhile once you get chest and shoulders and boots. I have literally gotten the same champion chest armor 6 or 7 times out of the last 10 runs and the ony other things dropping are champion gloves and shoulders. They definitely changed something, we used to get a lot more trinkets, rings, and weapons from Bountiful Coffers. Not really worth playing now, very boring trying to level up a player with delves now with no decent drops. These dupes are just stupid.
