Why Should I Find Rares and Treasures

Rares are a good daily source of Códigos de los Primeros and Flujo cósmico - These are used for the Cypher of the First Ones system and to fuel the Creation Catalyst/Legendary crafting.
In addition to this, killing rares in Zereth Mortis also grants reputation with Los Iluminados—10 to 15 reputation per Rare per day.

Flujo cósmico

Killing 10 rares (Aventuras en Zereth Mortis) and finding 5 treasures (Colecciones curiosas) are part of the Desentrañar los secretos meta achievement, which unlocks flying in Zereth Mortis.

Killing all rares (Aventurero de Zereth Mortis) and finding all treasures (Tesoros de Zereth Mortis) are part of the De la A a la Zereth meta achievement, the endgame achievement for Zereth Mortis, which gives the Aurélida críptica mount.

Located underwater, requires fishing with an Cebo de aurélida to pull.

To obtain the Aurelid Lure, fish a Pegote extraño (low drop chance) from the pool Hirukon is standing at, then bring it to Baronesa Vashj in Maldraxxus. Vashj will tell you she can craft the special lure by getting her more fish:

Pez borrón can be fished in a Pungent Blobfish Cluster inside the Coilfang Reservoir in Zangarmarsh.
Pez con aletas is initially fished in a Flipper Fish School in Zin-Azshari, Nazjatar - Once you fish one, it'll slip from your inventory, and you must loot it as it flops around to obtain the fish.
Vid ferrobucle is looted from a balcony in Nar'shola Terrace in Vashj'ir, on the second level of the runs. It's extremely hard to see, as it is a green vine on top of a green graphic.

Once you have all items, bring them back to Vashj for her to craft the lure. With the lure in hand, return to Hirukon's spot in Zereth Mortis and use it; you will see an Aurelid Cluster that wasn't there beforehand. Fish at the cluster and Hirukon will emerge.

Once inside the Blooming Foundry, the treasure is located at the very end of a narrow corridor. To ripen the treasure, collect Nube de polen scattered around the Foundry and bring them to the Pear. Repeat 5 times to ripen the treasure.

Located inside a cave overlooking the Dimensional Falls area (cave is named Catalyst Wards). To enter the cave, destroy the blocking Enredadera de florespina and interact with the nearby Candado de los Salones de Catalizadores to unlock the entrance.

Inside the cave, the treasure is located at the top level of the main room, and you will need to unlock a teleporter within the Wards to reach the treasure. The teleporter is located within the northern room of the cave. Just climb the ramp to the right of you as you enter the Catalyst Wards. Find the four Teleporter Locks to unlock the teleporter and reach the treasure:

Outside the entrance, at an alcove behind the Catalyst Wards Lock and covered by Enredadera de florespina.
In the eastern room of the cave between two entrances, covered by foliage.
In the western room of the cave, right in the middle, covered by Enredadera de florespina.
In the southern room of the cave, at the southern end, covered by Enredadera de florespina.

Helmix is available everyday, it just needs to be force spawned by killing the worms in the area (possibly?), but definitely the single worm at it's spawn point. I've killed it 7 days in a row now.
