FYI for the author: The following leveling step requires waaaaaaay more than 7x Vibrant Shards & 14x Vibrant Wildercloth Bolts:

These professions don't make any sense to me. Like I'm trying to just "play the game" but the main way to get knowledge is finding random treasures that I have to look up on wowhead?

Also, I need mettle and it's not really explained how to get that in game. On top of that mettle is a limited resource so I can only craft so much stuff that uses it then I just can't craft anymore?

On the surface it seemed like a neat system but the more you look into it it just seems unfinished and unnecessarily restricted by random stuff like knowledge and mettle. As well like none of this is explained in game and you have to learn it from wowhead or icy-veins.

Am I missing something? lol

Unlike spellthread from past expansions, which had to be applied directly to the tailor's own garment, Hilo de hechizo vibrante is a consumable that may be traded.

The first time I created it, I was going to see if it could be applied to a vellum, but that wasn't even necessary. Crafting it creates a stand-alone item that you may then use on your own garment, or trade.

This makes Vibrant Spellthread a more reasonable option for skillups than spellthreads were in the past. Although the auction house value is very low (like the products of all recipes used for skilling up), at least it can be saved for when you get upgraded leg armor, or sent to an alt.

Even though Caperuza añejada de perito takes cheaper mats: it auctions for nothing, vendors for nothing, and disenchants to almost nothing. I made many, many hoods and disenchanted them for Vibrant Sparks, and turned the sparks into spellthread, and getting that last RNG point from 64 to 65 was grueling. I'd probably have been better off buying sparks on the AH, making only spellthread, and saving the spellthread for later (or alts).

It seems rather daunting that i need a rare (1 in 15k chance of drop) recipe for the next 15 levels (65-80), each of the recipes requiring rare materials. I thought a little more encouragement here could help. i.e. "I got my recipe over here after 15,000 kills on this one mob."

I'd like to suggest for 80-100 to not use Artisan's Mettle and actually use Rainbow Pearls to make the best Fishing headgear possible. A lot cheaper option. In fact, I think the best route in general is making Fishing headgear for levelling.

Edit: On my server, making Frozen Spellthread cost me around 100k gold, whereas buying vibrant cloth + rainbow pearls for fishing helmets cost me around ~1k

By far the easiest way to go from 50 to 97 is just waiting until you get Dragonscale Expedition to renown level 15, then buying the Pattern: Master's Wildercloth Fishing Cap.
Then buy the relatively cheap mats from the AH and vendor the BOP hats.
Quick and easy. So easy, in fact, that it feels like they may nerf it eventually.

I've found that cloth drops are so very rare in DF. I had TONS of cloth in SL. I can collect more ore, leather, or herbs in 15 minutes than I can collect cloth in 8 hours. It's absurd!

what i want to know is what am i missing when making bolts of azure chrono and vibrant wildercloth...tailoring mastery is maxed out textiles is maxed out needlework is maxed out and 30 in garmentcrafting and i still cant craft top level blots of cloth? what skill am i missing?

Adding for those who are levelling DF professions in later expansions. Splintered Spark of Awakening can still be earned in later expansions for transmog and levelling dragonflight professions. The flightstone requirement has been removed. I can confirm they can be earned per-boss by running Dawn of the Infinites, and I assume that other DF dungeons also drop them on bosses, but at a minimum, Dawn of the Infinites has 8 bosses, which would net four sparks per run, which I believe can be done once per week.
