if your gonna tank you shouldn't bother with a heirloom weapon. the 4%parry runeforge at lower lvls is really nice and when stoneskin gargoyle is available your gonna want to use it.

as a dps use what you want...fallen crusader is the only good dps runeforge and doesn't give you much str until your gear starts to improve.

it still procs decently from 60-70 which is when you'd get the most use out of the heirlooms. once you hit 70+ you'll probably end up wanting drops for the runeforges. the crusaders +100str is probably better for dps till the 15% from fallen crusader becomes compareable. cinderglacier, spellshatter are horrible runeforges. razorice isn't bad but at lower lvls mobs die so fast you can't make much use of the debuff. if you have 2 x 1hander heirlooms with crusader then that would work okay.

honestly though. you kill ^&*! so fast and lvl quick so if you have the heirlooms use it till mid 70's imo. if you don't have them don't worry much about farming the weapons. but the shoulders and chest are definitely nice to have.
