This will be the same as Naxxramas for Wrath of the Lich King, meaning it won't be the hardest raid and hopefully it will be a fun packed dungeon with beautiful clouds and sky environment! :)

With only 2 bosses and The Bastion of Twilight announced as the first raid in cataclysm this sounds more like the cata equivalent to Obsidian Sanctum, or maybe Malygos.

Considering that we will be facing Al'akir himself, it will be more likely an equaliment of EoE, not Naxxramas :)

Throne of the Four Winds, 10 man regular mode Conclave of Wind
This is a "Four Horseman" style encounter, consisting of three bosses on separate platforms who each have their own distinct abilities. Much like 4H, your raid must keep at least one person on each platform at all times, or the boss will cast a raid wipe spell. Unlike 4H, the bosses must all die at the same time; to be specific, within one minute of each other.
The best kill order is Anshal, then Nezir, then Rohash. DPS will need to switch platforms constantly according to certain raid events listed in more detail below. The bosses each have an energy bar that fills at 90. Once the bar fills, they use their "ultimate" ability. The "wind tunnels" that carry players from platform to platform shut down temporarily while the bosses uses these abilities.
Anshal
- the "Life Boss", west platform
Soothing Breeze - Casts an AOE heal with a graphic identical to the druid's Efflorensce. It heals the boss and silences anyone who stands in it. Pull the boss out of this circle at all times.
Nurture - Summons a group of flower adds. These adds are very dangerous and must be killed ASAP. They are healed to full instantly by the Soothing Breeze circle. The boss will often cast the circle directly on the adds, making it a challenge to keep them out of it. Don't use stuns such as Shockwave until after the circle has been cast and you've successfully pulled the adds out of it.
Zephyr (ultimate) - A channeled, uninterruptible spell that causes the boss to gain a 225% bonus to damage. It is very difficult to kite this boss due to the overly large hit box. Use your cooldowns to survive this. Fortunately, the buff has a very short duration. While channeling, Anshal also heals himself slightly.
Rohash
- the "Wind Boss", east platform
Slicing Gale - Deals weak damage to one or more nearby players. This is Rohash's main attack, as he lacks a melee attack and does not need to be tanked in the traditional sense. Any self-healer can handle the damage. A warlock is recommended, but you can try other options, as the damage is not significant.
Summon Tornados - Several cyclones spin around the platform, knocking players off and doing large amounts of damage. These are not difficult to avoid for ranged, but can be tricky for melee. For that reason, ranged classes are preferred for this boss.
Wind Blast (ultimate) - The boss fires a powerful beam-like wind blast in one direction and starts slowly rotating. This is similar to C'thun or Mimiron's laser abilities and is easily avoided.
Nezir
- the "Frost Boss", north platform
Wind Chill - A weak AOE that places a stacking debuff, increasing frost damage taken by all targets on the platform. This debuff becomes very severe after a few minutes and must be dealt with. A Death Knight tank can use a well timed Anti-Magic Shell to allow the buff to drop off, or a Paladin could bubble out of it. Healers will need to swap between Nezir and Anshal in order to drop the debuff. Tanks may need to as well, if they are not able to work out another way to get rid of Wind Chill.
Permafrost - Fires a cone of cold at the tank for a large amount of frost damage. Make sure everyone is behind the boss at all times to prevent this from hitting anyone besides the tank.
Ice Patch - Drops a large ice patch on the ground that causes damage and applies a stacking slow to the target. Get out of the ice patch.
Sleet Storm (ultimate) - Channels a powerful meteor-style Blizzard spell on all raid members on the platform. The damage is divided up amongst all targets. In order to mitigate this damage, you will want to make sure as many people as possible (preferably seven people) are on the north platform every time the bosses cast their ultimate. Because players cannot transfer platforms while it is being cast, the raid leader will need to warn the raid at about 80 energy that it is time for everyone to transfer.
Assignments
Raid Leader
: Assign one player to be the all-time Rohash tank. This player will not ever leave the platform for any reason. You should pick a ranged class who can keep themselves alive through weak to moderate damage. A warlock or any healer can handle it. Make sure they are someone aware enough to avoid tornados.
With the remaining DPS, split them into two teams. One team will go after Rohash, and the other will go after Anshal. You want 2 dps on Rohash, and 3 on Anshal (because of his adds and healing). If you are 2-healing the raid, put your spare DPS on Anshal.
Your DPS will start on Nezir and split after the first "ultimate" cycle. Order a bloodlust right after the first wave of adds die, to guarantee that Nezir takes a lot of damage before the first sleet storm. Send out a raid warning when the bosses reach 75 energy, to give your DPS a heads up and remind them to transfer to north platform.
Tanks
: Figure out your strategy for dealing with Wind Chill. If one of you can get rid of it efficiently, that saves you both a lot of trouble. Frost resist is a possible option.
Otherwise, you will need to find a way to coordinate a tank swap to get rid of the debuff. You could use a temporary offtank to facilitate the transfer, such as a DK in blood presence, or a feral druid.
While tanking Nezir, always point him away from the healer and DPS, and get out of the ice patch. On Anshal, drag him out of his healing circle, and gather the adds when they spawn. Anshal will always drop a healing circle on one of his adds right after he finishes summoning them, so watch out for that. Use cooldowns to survive the Zeyphyr buff.
Healers
: Healing through the AOE on Nezir is a breeze if everyone else is doing their job. If not enough people transfer for Sleet Storm, or if the tank gets too many stacks of Wind Chill, you might have a problem. Healing through Anshal is especially easy, but the melee will take heavy damage from the adds, so be ready for that. If you are soloing Rohash, bring something to read, or perhaps a snack.
DPS
: Assuming you aren't the designated Rohash tank, you are starting on the north platform. Keep a close eye on Nezir's energy. When it reaches 25, immediately transfer to the west platform to kill Anshal's adds. The adds are dangerous and have to die ASAP.
Once the adds are dead, transfer back to Nezir and blow all of your cooldowns. You want to burn him as much as you possibly can through the first ultimate. Once his Sleet Storm finishes, you will transfer to your designated platform. The raid leader should have assigned you to either Anshal or Rohash.
While fighting these bosses, continue watching their energy. When they reach 80, drop whatever you are doing and transfer to the north platform to get ready for Sleet Storm. DPS Nezir while you are there, but if his health is low, be very careful not to drop him below 200k or so. You want a buffer so you don't accidentally kill him too early.
After Sleet Storm finishes, go back to your boss. Watch Rohash's health to make sure he doesn't die too early; if he gets low much too fast, transfer to Anshal to help them out. Kill Anshal as soon as you possibly can. Once Anshal is dead, kill Nezir, and finally Rohash.

WHY is someone down rating lore related replies that are actually correct? Granted some weird grammar since were... both saying the Tidehunter is the strongest but... i dunno but at any rate these lore comments are correct asaid from one.
Neptulon is the strongest Elemental Lord, Al Akir is the weakest.
Ragnaros was never "killed" just banished back to his realm, the Fire lands, any multidimensional being is generally beyond the ability of mortals (us the players) to truly kill a permanent kill. Apparently, the same thing may have been the case with C'thun >.> If you notice Chogall seems to be in league with him, and in Shadowmoon Valley the aroka were summoning a mini C'thun thing. How there related, we have no clue yet. Why we were able to deal a permanant death to Yogg'saron, may have something to do with where we fought him.
Malygos was actually absorbing all that magic into the eye of eternity via those leylines you found everywhere, to make himself stronger than the other aspects.
Also, this might just be a theory but... the last time we fought Raggy, it was while he was being summoned to our plane of existence. This time we will fight him on his own turf, this MIGHT enable us to permanently kill him. Again, multidimensional beings.
Finally, a list just to clarify some stuff... I was a lore hound at one point and time.
Illidan - Killed
Kael'Thas - Killed (better dam be)
Lich King/arthas - Killed
Lich King/alliance guy - Alive and depressed (new Lich King end of WotLK)
Lich King/Nerzhul - ? quite frankly we don't even understand what happened to him in the first place.
Kil'Jeadin - Banished during sunwell (Alive)
C'thun - Banished? Killed? not sure.
Yogg'saron - Killed.
Archimond - Killed (War of ancients, before WoW)
Sargerous - Alive. somewhere.
Empress Azshara - Alive.
Deathwing - Alive
Ragnaros - Alive and pissed (banished vanilla, back cata)
Al'Akir - Alive
Neptulon - Alive
Therazon - Alive
At least 3 more Old Gods - We have no idea.

The setup of the place – council/group fight then single large boss – makes me wonder why nobody has said "Cataclysm's Gruul's Lair" yet.
Maybe I'm just too darn longbearded of a WoW player?

Unless the loot table is wrong, this sounds like that raid everyone does for the guild achievement and maybe runs it just for valor points and DE mats if it's a faceroller. Are they really making every piece of gear have random mods? Sure they've toned the mods quite a bit from back in the day, but still....thats almost as bad as BH for getting gear.

As stated above...I would consider all of the newer raid instances to be the equiv of Naxx. They all drop 359 loot on regular mode in both 10 and 25...not sure what number it is for Heroic gear.
Since they all drop 359 loot, they are all appropriate starting raids and therefore are the equiv of Naxx. Some bosses are more difficult than others in every raid instance. When the next patch releases new content, as far as raids, I would consider that the equiv of Ulduar. I would have to say that Baradin Hold is absolutely the equiv of VoA.
My guild specifically has downed 3 bosses in Blackwing Descent and the 1st boss in Bastion of Twilight. We just started raiding more hardcore recently. So far all of those bosses have proven to be somewhat easy given Coordination but bosses like Chimaeron are by far much more difficult. We've made some attempts on Valiona and Theralion in Bastion...they don't seem too difficult but I'm sure there are other bosses that will be a bit more challenging.

Hi all!
I am asiking for little help in here. Our guild was raiding Throne last night for the first time.
Swapping platforms seemed to be the issue cause healers said they got silenced. How does it happen and can it be prevented or somthing?
Thanks in advance!

Well look at it this way, It only makes sense that Neptulon was the strongest I'll use a bit of a visual aid.
Water > Fire
Water puts out fire
Water > Earth
Water erodes land
Water > Wind
Water can distort the winds currents or something
Not necessarily. That argument can be made for all elements.
Earth
:
Quenches
Fire
Absorbs
Water
Deflects
Air
Air
:
Extinguishes
Fire
Erodes
Earth
Disperses
Water
Fire
:
Melts
Earth
Consumes
Air
Evaporates
Water
I personally think that Earth should be the strongest, for nothing endues into eternity but Earth. But it all really depends on the situation.

Here is how my guild does it for 10-man Normal mode, makes it very easy and eliminates any platform switching confusion.
For initial placement:
1 Healer, 1 DPS on Rohash
1 Healer, 1 Tank on Nezir
Remaining tank, healer and the rest of the dps on Anshal
The healer and dps on Rohash will stay on that platform the entire fight, through specials and everything. Their only job is to get Rohash as low as possible, we usually have a Destro Lock there.
Tank and healer on Nezir are just sitting around wasting time until the adds are dead.
The Anshal group is doing their normal job, killing Anshal and switching to adds when they spawn, they don't want to kill Anshal though, take him to about 15% each time. When the adds die the bosses are usually at 70-75 energy and we start switching. Everyone on Anshal and Nezir switch platforms and wait for the specials.
When the specials are over everyone on Nezir and Anshal switch back and we repeat the same process, making sure not to kill Anshal, usually just have to stop dpsing him and wait for adds to spawn. Switch again for specials and return after they're done, this time the Anshal platform just burns Anshal and ignores any adds. When Anshal dies Rohash is usually at 20% or so, Anshal group switches to Nezir, bloodlust to kill Nezir, then run to clean up Rohash if he's not dead yet for some reason.
So basically the third time the Anshal team is on that platform, including when they start there, they kill the boss. Makes it very easy and not confusing.

Do not use
slow fall
or
levitate
on anybody that's about to jump from one platform to another. If they aren't expecting it, they will jump... then miss the platform as they (quite literally) slowly fall past the platform. If they don't click off
slow fall
or
levitate
in time, they will fall to their death(s) (instead of falling then getting punted back up onto a platform.) On the other hand, if you have someone like
Donald
in your raid group, casting
levitate
or
slow fall
on them right before they jump is a great way to get them killed.

Conan:
What gods do you pray to?
Subotai:
I pray to the four winds... and you?
Conan:
To Crom... but I seldom pray to him, he doesn't listen.
Subotai:
What good is he then? Ah, it's just as I've always said.
Conan:
He is strong! If I die, I have to go before him, and he will ask me, "What is the riddle of steel?" If I don't know it, he will cast me out of Valhalla and laugh at me. That's Crom, strong on his mountain!
Subotai:
Ah, my god is greater.
Conan:
Crom laughs at your four winds.
He laughs from his mountain.

Funny thing is that it could be possible to solo the Conclave, if it wasn't for constant evading. The way to bypass their
raidwide
mechanics
is to set your pet (like
MI
or
Xuen
, haven't tested other classes) on one boss and go to the other platform and zerg him like there will be no tomorrow. In theory then you can return to your pet and kill that boss, but the boss just evades at that stage.
Basically, you can ignore
Anshal ability
as a mage using
Ice Barrier
, set
MI
on Rohash, jump and kill Nezir (some very good DPS required, around 250k before your pet die). Killing Rohash would be very easy, but at that stage he just evades randomly. One time I've killed him through some very nice crits only to see Anshal instantly evade:(
So I can guess that this fight can be duoed, and if somebody comes with the way to stop this evading it will be possible to
solo
it.
Hopefully somebody will devise a way to do it. :)
