It is worth noting though this ability is useless if you use it while the enemy is vunerable, then use a basic attack, like 回饋 (or your pet's equivalent), because it's very true you can just attack twice and have done the same amount of damage without taking any damage from yourself. But if you use this while the enemy is burrowed, underwater, lifted off, dodging, or you are brittle webbed or your defenses are shattered (then use a different ability after those debuffs fell off), then it's moderately more efficient, besides that you deal a little bit of damage to yourself.

TL;DR: This ability CAN be useless if used in the incorrect situation.
