Wanna get those eggs really quick?
ill help you stack em up. =D
here are some helpfull coords if you are in need of Netherwing rep and cant wait till next day to do dailys.. happy hunting.

Dragonmaw Camp on Mainland:
69.4, 63.8 (top of building)
70.9, 62.6 (upper level of zuluhed's building)
68.1, 59.7 (up in tower by dragon rider)
67.2, 61.4 (wagon in mainland camp)
(Note: there are eggs in each of the four watchtowers in the camp, and eggs in most of the large rooms in the compound).

Netherwing Ledge:
66.9, 91.5 (edge of shelf, behind crystals)
68.2, 94.6 (on island on south of shelf)
65.5, 84.8 (right in camp, by racers)
68.1, 81.8 (on top of hill)
78,83 (side of cliff, down in a little crevace)
66,91 (don't remember, first egg I found)
65,84 (on top of crystal)
71.5, 86.5 (on top of mountain, by den mother)
77.4, 85.8 (on top of mountain)
63.4, 82.8 (on ground, beneath crystal)
(Note: there is also one egg at least, maybe two on the landing platform guarded by the two big ascendants. It can't be gotten without pulling aggro, so find someone to run interception for you. Also, there are eggs on a lot of the islands floating around the main ledge, look around by the crystal formations.)

i do not see what the fuss is all about.. the eggs are everywhere.. on my server i guess they arent farmed all that much =) well.. cant wait till my quest gets me to the daily's for netherwing. if there is a way to speed up the process of getting to exalted.. please.. post it up.

You can't open these objects and claime the egg inside unless you got 300 riding skill. So you can't make some quick rep points with netherwing, if you find one of these.

A hunter can easily get the egg on the landing platform(guarded by the two big ascendants) without anyone's help:
1. land on the platform
2. use Eyes of the Beast ability to move your pet away from the platform and then set pet to stay
3. cast Misdirection on your pet
4. attack the nearest ascendant, and he will begin to attack your pet.
Note: Those two are not aggro-linked, and opening the egg will only agg one of them if you stand in the right position.
5. set pet to passive mode, feign death.
6. now you are out of combat, get the egg and fly away

Due to recent changes, when you open an egg and keep the loot window open, to "reserve" it for a friend to get to you to loot it, it is now "marked" as your loot, and the other one can´t loot it unless you relog.

the spawn rate is 1-2hour it depends where u find it in dragonmaw fortress it is 2 hour so i think so

The Eggs don't sparkle like most lootable things do, instead they have a sort of purplish smoke effect.

the smoke rising fromn them goes very high into the air and can be spotted fairly easily if looking in the rite direction

some ppl told me that u can find these eggs in Hand of Gul'dan in the middle of Shadowmoon.Is that true? and these eggs btw drops from some mobs all over the netherwing place but they have like 0.0000000000000001% drop rate xD

I'm just one of about 15 that still do their Netherwing dailies at 80. I just wanted to comment that if you still want to grind this rep then make sure to do Dragon's are the Least of Our Problems and Picking Up The Peices.... On a normal day I go through the mine killing Dragonflayers and collecting cargo and come accross about 6 Netherwing Eggs a day! The video touchstone gave in his comment shows spawn points outside the mine and if you wish to do some farming that would be most advised, but I have noticed that the eggs are spawning less and less outside than they are inside the mine. Don't know if they share a spawn timer, but it seems to be the major source of my Netherwing Egg collection.

The best time of the day to grind these eggs is in the morning, course then have alll the eggs respawn during night. I got 6 eggs this morning, just by walking trough Netherwing Mines

It seems to me the spawn rate for the eggs has been reduced while the drop rate on other quest items has been increased to 100%. I went from hated to exalted in 3.5 days of work on my rogue and would find at least 1 and as many as 3 doing laps through the mine. This time around I see one in the mine every 45 minutes at least.

This is just my observation, vote up if you have noticed the same change if you have experience farming this rep previously.

Strange, I'm pretty sure the spawns are:

-2 eggs at the fortress
-2 eggs OUTSIDE at Netherwing Ledge
-2 eggs inside the mine

Yet I found 3 eggs inside the mine? (One near the friendly miners in the entrance, one in a mine cart near the flayers, and another one sitting on a train-track bridge)

Maybe the first one near the entrance counted as being outside? *shrug* I had already found one outside, couldn't find the other.

Here's some good advice: If u see light purple-ish smoke rising in one area, you'll possibly be near an egg, so fly toward the smoke!

And get the gatherer addon it saves locations of gathers of netherwing eggs so you can re-visit the marked locations.

Another thing: the first netherwing egg i found was in the stables of the dragonmaw fortress on the lowest level.

A quick guide to those who do not want to watch the movie on locations within the Dragonmaw Camp (I usually find 1 per hour when I stop by to check. Sometimes more.)

*Four Huts - The Dragonmaw Drake-Riders you see on top of the broken walls will each have a kind of hut behind them with spikes and a red roof. There is a chance for an egg to spawn right inside one of these. I found my first egg in one =)

*Wagon - When you enter the camp from the fields, you'll see a wagon with a few sacks and a crate inside. One can spawn on top of it.

*Nethewhelp Cage - One can spawn in the centre of this.

*Zuluhed's Buildings - One can spawn in each. One is on a table, the other on the second floor near brasier and crates.

*Broken Hut - On the path up the hill, to the right hand side with a Dragonmaw Shaman inside, there can be an egg in the center, right next to the npc.

*Tower - There is a large tower on the right hand side (if you enter from the front) up on a hill on the pathway, one can spawn at the very top platform of it.

*Stables - One can spawn in the left hand side, middle stall.

*Behind the Drake - When you walk from the stables to the netherwhelp cage, on your left side before you pass through the broken wall, you'll see a Netherdrake, sometimes behind it you may find an egg.

I'm 99% sure this is all of the spawnpoints inside Dragonmaw. It'd be ridiculous to list all of those on the main ledge, but my best suggestion is to look on top of all the hills and mountains, also do not forget to look on top of very (VERY) large crystal formations, once in awhile they'll spawn.
Aswell, on many of the floating islands on the south of the ledge you'll find many islands. Those with *and without* formations may have eggs.

It would appear that Netherwing Eggs spawn in much greater number and/or frequency since Patch 3.2 is live. From two 15 minutes mine runs, I have been getting ~7 eggs per run which is way above what it used to be before the patch. (It could be pure luck, of course, but I do not believe that.)

Nyalee, great guide, cause the fortress is almost always empty and is fairly small, I found only one egg not listed, there's one in the only non-smashed wagon, just to the right when you walk into it from netherwing fields, I've got 2 of mine there.

The eggs have a 2 hours respawn timer. Also, for example in the Dragonmaw Fortress, there is always no more than 2 eggs at a time.

I am working on my 3rd or 4th Netherwing rep grind and have been trying to narrow down the respawn times on the eggs. This go 'round I am using a rogue so I am using my poisons to track time and currently looking at approx. 1.5hrs on the spawns.

What I can confirm is that if you get all spawns (best in the morning) there are 10 eggs up.

2 - Dragonmaw Fortress
2 - Netherwing Ledge
6 - Mines

I have done this multiple times and have had the same results both early morning and also following server reset.

Warlocks, especially those with the Eye of Kilrogg minor glyph, can use the Eye to quickly scope out the mine for eggs without actually wading through the sea of flayers and ravagers. With the glyph, the Eye can fly inside the mine and it moves quite fast, so you don't need to worry about avoiding aggro and don't have to spend 5-10 minutes running through the mine only to find nothing.

Of course, once you find an egg, you'll need to quickly run to it to avoid someone else poaching it, but since almost no one does these quests anymore that shouldn't be an issue :P

I also went into the favorites(open the map and click the button that looks like the torch), and changed the icons of the notes(choose Shadowmoon Valley on the left and right click, set icon for each one) so that they were easier to figure out which was which.

people are still going strong on finding the eggs.. I can confirm that mine has at least 5 different players in it at any given time of day since i`ve been trying to get exalted and gone at 5AM 11AM 4PM 10PM and saw at least 5 different people in the mine / on the ledge >.<

Wish blizzard would increase the ammount of rep you get per egg since mobs no longer cause a threat to the average farmer of these and its like incredibly difficult to farm them when 5 other people are also farming them.. 5 people farming 10 eggs .. thats not nice

LE: a full run of the mine * walked all the mine + mined all nethrecites + killed EVERYTHING in it * got me 4 eggs.. so yea thats very low..

Started yesterday, 11/2/11 in a matter of maybe 12 hours on and off going to do dungeons, making food etc I got to revered. Today in maybe 2 hours max I'm half way through revered. So maybe another 10 - 14 hours on and off I'll have gotten to exalted. So in all you can get this in slightly over 1 day if you are persistent and know where the eggs are, know what mobs drop the eggs the most, and grind out those quests.

In BC when I did this on my first toon it took me like 3 weeks. At least maybe more. The game is too easy now.

Is there any reason for not being able to open/loot it? I've found the egg in the fortress but I can't interact with it in any way. Is it a bug or am missing something?

Can anyone tell me if these spawn above the mine as well ? Ive yet to see any ever spawn above, only in the mines and in the fortress.

Edit- Finally found some. Believe it or not this is my fourth toon ive done this on, my original toon i did it when it was current content. First time ive ever found an egg not in the mines or fortress.

Addon "Gatherer" although makes searching eggs easier, but better learn the route and spawns of the eggs, its not difficult. I raised reputation Neutral-Exalted in 3 days. I reccomend to get the dragon for anyone, coz Netherdrake is the most attractive mount in the game, on my oppinion ofc.

... must have really hurt coming out ....

The eggs that spawn in the open ( object as opposed to the item ), are like a chest and cannot be opened/collected while in combat.

I have got the eggs themselves from several mobs, especially the Ravagers and Flayers in the mine. They can also be found while mining on Netherwing Ledge. Never found any when mining elsewhere in Shadowmoon.

run around the mines killing stuff, with this macro. click it once to start it:
