In addition to being good for a warlock, this neck is great for a prot pally, since you don't care about strength or spirit, since your damage will come mainly from your damage reflects, and you are almost never within the 5 second rule. At least until you get Lifeblood Amulet or equivalent (something with +stamina and +spell damage) this neck will be plenty helpful.

Last but not least, as a flag runner in WSG you want to be able to take quite a few hits, so there's yet another use for this neck.

Good for tanks and probably warlocks (because they can turn health into mana), but this is one of the absolute worst items for a mage i would NEVER equip this on my mage, but if i was a warrior however, i would equip it when in instances when i tank.

Just wanted to add that this item is still available. The drop rate is low but it apparently drops off a number of mobs. I got mine off the Hydromancer after two ZF runs.

Seriously, this is hunter loot.

Hunters generally don't melee, therefore we shouldn't miss the strength too much.

Hunters have large mana pools to draw from for their shots (especially with points in efficency) so mana regen isn't all that important.

Stamina is the second most important stat to a 40-ish Hunter, next to agility. This neck sacrifices two worthless stats to hunters to gain a large boost in the second-most important stat. Granted, there are better necks for hunters at this level, but this one is definately a viable option.

this thing is good for some, bad for others. who cares, if u dont need it, pass on it. if u dont want it in your inventory... throw it away. good, bad... who cares. its FREE. personally i like the stam, but i dont like loosin' any stats either, who does? just remember other armor stuff can make up for the minus.

I rolled need on this thinking it said +5str and +5spi. I equipped it of course and continued with it on thru the instance. It took me about half an hour to realize I had been fooled when I noticed I had minus stats on me.

Thank god I didn't have time to sell my old necklace...

It had been a long time since I ran ZF, I'd forgotten that this item drops there. Some guildies were running my alt (41 lock) and others through when this dropped.

No one wanted it but I was ready to roll need. +13 stam on a necklace at my level is NICE. Haven't found anything on AH or elsewhere that gives the same amount.

Seems as though it's perfect for locks, strength? who cares? spirit? so what? Locks need stam first and foremost. I love it.

Update: I dinged 43 and am now using the lifeblood amulet that dropped on the same run. Vendored the heart.

The level 80 version does drop from Heroic Halls of Reflection. I have been trying to get this for a while and have done H HoR probably 10 times and nothing =( . Does anyone know what the drop rate is?

It falls from H HoR I'm told but it seems it is a very low rate. I run the damn thing every day as a que and then when I get it as a random and it has never fallen yet. I have seen the hilt at least 9 times I can remember but not this item!

To bad everytime i get this place the tank is never able to pick up aggro fast enough to save me or any of the DPS so i can see this drop....srsly how hard is it to pick up things that run by you? especially after my pre-casted PoM has given you at least a little pull aggro

I have been running every day for 3 weeks to get it, boots, belts, rings, you name it, everything else dropped. Got it today, and so lucky on a 93 need roll. Beat two others in the group.

i have done the heroic LK event here 21 times and have not seen it drop ONCE. yes thats right, 21 times, and counting. (i got the exact number from my stats).

21 times for ANY drop in a 5 man dungeon is $%^&ing ridiculous. Please, please, someone, help me :( Wow is fun no more.

Yeah it is lame, Does Blizz reallly think people want to run these instances again? Ive run them til Im sick of them, absolutely hate them, and HHoR is a crappy instance, as a tank half the time the dps is so stupid they cant stay out of LoS, or they start hitting the target before they get to the stage.

pick random target -> get aggro -> wonder why they die...lol

As a healer running this as a Resto druid 5700 gs, its really fun carrying every jerk and DK to get badges and hopefull out-roll the clothies for a off hand.

The thing that's really getting to me is a problem caused by the looting system. Tanks and healers can queue as either/or and select dps in tandem with tanking or healing. I rolled the same number as the paladin tank on this (while on my lock), he rolled first, got it and immediately left. Tanks and healers get insta-queues while dps have extensive wait times to get in to the same dungeons, then compete with 2 other dps for dps gear, dependent on class. I have NEVER taken an item for OS over MS (such as tank items while queued as dps on my DK), so it really gets to me that I pay my dues and get robbed by somebody taking it for OS. Blizz really needs to fix this. All the notations prior to mine about how long they've been farming for this item with no luck. Pretty cheap to use a position as tank or healer with a rapid queue to ninja from the dps. We're all dependent on each other. You wouldn't have gotten to that drop without the dps, just as much as we wouldn't have gotten there without you (tanks and healers). Always amazes me how abusive people are of one another because they don't have to face the human on the other side of the keyboard.

This thing is still better than those amulets Griftah sells from 1 to 40g "see Griftah in Shattarh City for more details". This item can be good for a lock: no need for spirit and even less for strengh but real need for stamina.
