I love this potion and always try to keep at least a stack in my bag. It's not exactly meant to be a super potion, but it's definitely got its place of importance.

For e.g. when you're in a boss fight in a raid when it's close, and you know that you're not going to get heals and you're completed depleted, not knowing what to drink whether a major mana or major health potion, and you need to get back in action NOW, this potion is the one I often times find myself using, and so far it's never let me down. The least I got was less than 200 mana or less than 400 health, but I've gotten over 1k health/mana too. It gives both bars a slight bump that often times is what you need to finish a fight.

The other big plus to this is to use up those wildvine and purple lotus you harvested but can't sell in AH. I have 2 characters I actively play on herbalism, and I find using these potions actually worth more than selling the wildvines for almost nothing.

yea it can be realy nice sometimes but imagine if your both bars are almoust empty and u use it and BAM u got healed for 2hp and 5mana ;D would be nice to see that

I don't know if I could get myself to use one of these potions in any situation besides just PvE soloing. The shared cooldown on all of your normal heals and mana potions make it almost too much to chance in a major fight. If I made them to level my alchemy I'd probably just use them for fun instead of healing or life tapping for mana.

And this "crap" is a great use.

I stick only superior heal pot. Since my pet, felhunter, absorb 30% & give me 60 resist all on rag & ony. I never need more. but when im getting low on mana & have alot of HP, I life tap twice and use wildvine. I get all my HP back & even get some MP at same time.

At 1.5g a stack its fantastic.

It's too unreilable to use in a fight... I used this on my war... Recovered 8 HP from it.

Needless to say, I dumped the rest of the stack I made. =\

Mats are worth too much to even bother making this potion that won't sell. The wildvine goes for a ton to the tailors making the Dreamweave set, which is some of the best caster gear at those levels. The wildvine goes for 1g plus on almost every server I play on. And if you get 81 silver for this recipe, you're lucky.
