Outside of the two-hander dropped by Deathwing, this will be BiS for any non-orc unholy or 2H frost DK.

That alone isn't terribly interesting, but for the fact that Horrific Greataxe has superior itemization for any non-human or non-dwarf blood DK, TG warrior, or ret paladin. If this drops in your raid, as a DPS death knight, you'll have decent grounds to argue it come to you over one of the other classes/specs.

This isn't meant to start a class war, by any means, and an upgrade is always an upgrade. But if you're a raider or, better yet, a raid leader, think about this when loot starts dropping if you want to optimize raid performance. Every little bit helps.

This is the only 2h melee weapon that looks like the weapon type it is. Both the sword 格沙萊克，深淵之聲 and axe 實驗樣本切割斧 look really blunt and unsharp , it's more likely to bludgeon things with them then to actually cut something or pierce trough armor so they are more like maces with the shape of a sword/axe.

It seems the legendary Landsoul is using for TG Fury a Heroic Gurthalak and a Heroic Ataraxis in his mh and oh respectively. Since on EJ they still haven't decided 100 percent if having Gurthalak in the off hand is more profitable than having a weapon with stats (due to decreased tentacle proc rate), his warrior has opted to go with this weapon for Fury. The reason he chose this mace over the axe is because of the haste on it. They've decided thus far that Hit >= Crit while Haste > Mastery now with the Tier 13 2set bonus so that is the setup Landsoul is using, and since this mace has Haste on it instead of Mastery, this would be why he's using this weapon in his off hand.
