Only one dmg/healing less! and you can get it 5 levels earlier.

It's a quest reward from Compendium of the Fallen (https://www.wowhead.com/mop-classic/quest=1049) that you can get at level 28. Unless you are one of the Forsaken. Then you are out of luck. Sorry. :(

I care way more about bonus dmg if I'm on a damage class. Int and Spirit don't increase your power, just how long you can keep casting your crappy spells. But with crazy amounts of frozen wrath stuff my mage kills everything before it gets close, there's no need for stamina to take hits or int to last longer in such short fights. And of course being a mage I can just drink conjured water rather than wait for spirit to regen my mana.

Wish I'd known about this orb back then, I'd have definately gotten it.

Jerek, + int gear is nice because of criticals. Int adds spell crit chance, where as +spell damage is a general damage increase.

Might be getting this orb for my paladin soon, it's her style.

Ive been looking for this, and ive been running this over and over again, ive done it about 15 times now and the Bloodmage Mantle keeps droping, whats going on? If u are on Bonechewer and you are alliance, PST mordier, i am a lvl 36 dwarf priest, if u dont have a character on bonechewer, make an alliance character on this server if u have an answer.

this thing if u put it as offhand with the hypnotic blade it will be leet...9 for blade and 12 for this...12+9 = 21 woOt... 21 increased effects and damage nice..

At first i was planing buying Staff of Jordan for 100-130g but after a while i realized (with some help) that the dagger from SM library and this orb would be better combination than spend 100g+ for Staff of Jordan. You really just loose a few stats + 4-5? spell dmg.

i agree this is a really good item. i got it on my first SM boost , i found hypnotic blade and this babe THE SAME DAY ^^ anyway it s a big dmg boost pvp u wont really need it pve... u can use illusionary rod. yesterday i critted a 950 mindblast on a gnome :) ye that felt good

Im a priest, im going to use Hand of Righteousness with this, or should i use it with Orb of Lorica. I'm thinking of this combo for Healing, but im going to use Illusionary rod for PvE!

Well im a lvl 33 druid and i soloed that boss in SM gy.. i just stealthed to him and killed him alone. im feral but i used all my mana to tho :) and ofc my lovely orb droppde :)

So far this thing has dropped every time I killed that dude. This goes nicely with the dagger that drops in Library, and ill probably use it with the Hand of Righteousness at 39 also.

PvP: Stamina & Spell Damage.

Stamina to stay alive while doing heavy damage. Doing 200 dmg each throw just ain't enough even if you have 6786396739 hp . So, stamina & Dmg

Quest/Grind: Different, mostly you'll need random of stats (Locks will use most of spell damage though, got life-tap & tank pet) while priest and mage will need all stats.

Instance/Raid: Spell damage, intellect mostly. Spirit for healers and end-game but this is only for 33 so.

OMG I got this, robes of doan, doan's dagger (watever its called) and Bloodmage mantle on my 32 rogue. I have to lvl up to use them but at 34 im gonna be sooooooo badass....WOOT.

Yes, Equip that to your hunter so your serpent sting does 20 more damage instead of an AP off hand or an Agi weapon. please do so.

34 Mage with Orb of the Forgotten Seer and Hypnotic Blade Combo.

Without the items my frostbolt does 187 on average, with both items it does 209 on average. That's almost 12% more damage, and since I have the frost talent that increases crit damage it's an even bigger percentage increase on crits.

Spell damage is a good stat.
