Actually haste seems to be gaining a regular spot in the arms warrior specs. Looking at a few posts from EJ's and while reading the new Cataclysm caps on wow heroes, haste is suddenly something that's in the top 4 specs. If u look at the recommended enchant for a warrior it's now hurricane and avalanche (do wish i could find avalanche but not in the AH as of yet). But some of the warrior trinkets even have wep haste so as far as i can see this is a decent arms warrior wep as well.

According to EJ for Ret pallies haste is the least desirable stat. Reforge to Mastery since it is next best stat.

The way the sword looks makes me think of Pinkie Pie.

Can't beat the stats on it, though. My DK loves it with a passion.

I just can't help but think there's something horribly wrong with a dark, undead soldier of death wielding a bright pink weapon.

Amazing stats, mediocre design.... Looks a nice enough swo... OHMYGODWHATISTHATSPEED?

Seriously though 3.3 speed is absolutely a joke! Even with reforging you're bound to have 4-7% haste which brings the damn speed close to 3.18-3.25 Far too fast for an Arms Warrior to fully reap the benefits of this sword.

I have yet to acquire this on my current Warrior, and unless the amount of stat gains can overthrow my Obsidium Executioner i'll be sticking with it until i find a better replacement for it.

Edit:Just got my hands on it. And after reforging every possible bit of haste out of my gear i'm sitting at 3.13 speed, Granted this is for level 84. I wound up losing about 0.23 weapon speed, small number i agree but it's still there. I am aware that i am going to lose more haste as i ding 85. So the final speed would probably be somewhere along the lines of 3.20 something.

I find this to be a very good weapon, especially for a Blood Death Knight. It has proven very useful, and I have held onto it for quite some time now, with a good group it's easy to get to. Great weapon for those who are trying to start running heroics to advance even further.

@Amagh The amount of haste doesn't change the damage range of the weapon, it just reduces the time it takes for you to get another hit on the mob as well as slightly reducing your Global Cooldown. You switching back and forth from a lower level sword because of a party member's haste buff is only hurting you further. Yes, it's fast as &*!@ in comparison, but the main reason why speed is important is because of the damage range that comes from the dps times weapon speed becoming the average strike damage of the resulting hit. It's true that the Obsidium Executioner may be much slower than this weapon, but look at the damage ranges. The OOOO still has it beaten, despite being faster, because the base dps being so much higher than the OE.
