Sobers you up, my waggle!

I do the Wildhammer dailies, well, daily, and I hate how I'm so plastered after 30 minutes.

I tried this recipe, made a 5-stack, and it didn't seem to sober me up at all.

So, I made enough Highland Spirits to get me good & roaring drunk, sat down in Stormwind, and proceeded to abuse my (virtual) liver for the sake of science.

I can honestly say, don't depend on this to sober you up. It won't, and you'll likely get arrested for flying while intoxicated.

Hopefully they will balance this cost of mats to the created item. It would be nice to have a Kungaloosh-like recipe in this expansion that actually saves you money by crafting it rather than costing you money for no extra benefit. At least in Lich King, you could get 5 Kungaloosh for each set of mats you used. This is not the case with this recipe, it's 1:1. Kinda of upset I wasted the cooking marks so early on buying this considering it's uselessness.

Not sure if anybody else has noticed but this appears to be the only water in the game that you can't drink while you use dispersion as a shadow priest. When you trying to get mana in between pulls in instances this becomes quite annoying. As long as you have a mage to make mana cakes you are good however.

The reagents have been changed, you now need Refreshing Spring Water and Cocoa Beans, making it quite cheaper.
Also, the way of gathering Cocoa Beans have changed.
You can now buy Imported Supplies for 1 Chef's Award at your Sous Chef. Each sack contains loads of Cocoa Beans. I got 40 from my first sack.

Could be referring to Starbucks, yes, but also druid's (Starfire) going into the Emerald Dream, and coffee is supposed to wake you up

Unfortunately, drinking over ten full stacks of this does not give you a caffeine rush, the only coffee in the game and all it does is restore mana and get you(somewhat) sober!

Only the initial drink (Use) for each item will grant the Inebriate (Value: -15) effect. Allowing your character to drink will not reduce the "drunkenness" any further; so simply spam a couple drinks.

Note: I suppose this is probably more obvious for players with full screen glow still enabled as the screen will become less fuzzy only on the initial use.

Players used to be able to disable full-screen glow in the video options, but the option was removed. The only effect you'll really notice from this feature is the fuzzy screen from "drunkenness".

To disable full-screen glow simply type: /console ffxGlow 0

Even though this IS a cataclysm cooking recipe, it does not increase your number in the guild achievement Set the Oven to "Cataclysmic".

Personally I still prefer my fool-proof anti drunk method....Fly up really high, fall, and when you hit the ground you are magically sober
