So am I the only one who thinks these things look horrible? Maybe they match the hunter T11 but they don't match anything else that you can get at 85 short of spending VP. Every other JP item and dungeon drop in Cataclysm content has a consistent theme, then you put these on and it looks like you farmed them from a BC heroic. For my shaman I can't wait until I have a kilt to cover them >.<

Just too bad that they're light-years better than all the other pre-raid options.

Nothing is better than this, in game, at this time.
Maybe some "heroic" raid boots.... which you wont see if you are 95% of the population.

This is my favorite boot model in the game and it's a shame it is used so sparingly and is more common as plate armor. There are only four basic models of this that I've found through searching on Wowhead: Northrend Mail Gray, ToC Horde, Icecrown Claw, and Cataclysm Green; links below.

The Northrend Mail Gray model is unique to that raid, but the rest have duplicates in 10/25 and normal/heroic. Some duplicates ignored for simplicity. Unfortunately, the options for Alliance players are much more limited since their ToC mail boot model has a collar rather than a knee guard.

These boots are exceptional. For Hunters, they are your pre-bis. When properly reforged, they yield approximately a 6% stat value increase over, the valor boots: 青蔥林蔭皮底鞋. The only boots that are better in the 359 item level tier are 昏眩長靴, which drop from Atramedes who resides within Blackwing Descent.
