i would have to say this is by far the best pot availible in the 19 bracket for twinks. a mojority of the #$%^ of moments happen when u get feard by locks and preists. if you got this lixer active it makes fear a moot point. easly absorbs all the dot damage and about 10shadowbolts even from a well geard lock if it goes for 1000+ abosorbsiton. by the time your out of fear he will be oom. Handy pot for sure.

Prior to The Shattering, it used to be sold by Harklan Moongrove in Ashenvale in addition to the Horde vendor. But as Silverwind Refuge was overtaken by Horde, it now appears to only be available to the Horde directly and Alliance indirectly through AH or by someone having it still in their bank :\

Tried to get this recipe with my alliance (lvl 85) character using potion of illusion, hoping the horde characters over there would think: "If it looks like a horde character, it smells like a horde character, then it probably is one." Unfortunately, they were a lot smarter than they seemed and saw right trough me... This resulted in a visit of a lot of lvl 85 guards and a weird undead appearance.

I have two add-ons for finding recipies.. one is Recipe Radar and the other is Recipe Known.

Recipe Known hasn't been wrong until now. I went to the vendor and found that i indeed didn't know this one.

For anyone Horde who uses Recipe Known.

I bought all spawned items and waited less than an hour before SPP spawned.

I must have been extremely lucky. I went to the vendor in Tarren Mill but he did not have the recipe for sale.
I came here to read about the spawn rate...about three minutes later he had it for sale.

Most recipe's vendor bought usually have a spawn rate, so as to not make them readily availible for the AH and are usually BoP, this one is from ashenvale (you can also pick up the advanced cookbook while your there) from, a NE as shown above, the spawn rates are pretty good but they do disappear if someone has recently bought the item. Instead of being 1 recipe each day, he usually drops them once every half hour -1h. so stick around and kill some elementals :)

What makes the potion good is that it can still be enough to keep a rogue alive through a shadowflame against nefarian but it doesn't require ingredients worth 6g per potion.

Go to the building in tarren mill with the mailbox by the door, walk in , turn left and there he is at the bottom of the stairs.

I'm currently sat waiting for this recipe to spawn in Tarren Mill (but the damn murloc pattern does), and the respawn time is 15mins.

I'm pretty sure the pattern to spawn is chose randomly, but if it's not, sorry ^^

Goto Darnassus> Enter pink glowing tent that brings you to Rut'theran Village, Teldrassil>Fly to Auberdine, Darkshore> Fly to Astranaar, Ashenvale> Head east on the road until 50,58 then make a right heading south to the Silverwind Refuge Building - enter and make a left you will see Harklan Moongrove standing on the left at 50,67.

I had to wait only 10 minutes it to appear. Bought it as its needed for shadow resistance enchant ona cloak, so as a good alchemist, I make my own potions. Anyway the elf sold it for sure. Not sure of the spawn timer itself.
