The a$$hats at blizzard just nerfed these to an item level 300 Green. Stats are now as follows:

2051 Armor
146 Str
219 Stam
97 Haste
97 Expertise

I had JUST bought these and equiped them and it finally put my Ilevel to 329 so I could run heroics! WEWT! I go and eat and come back to the computer and it says that I can not que for heroics because my gear is too low. I take a look and find out that while I was gone from my computer Blizzard ninja nerfed them! Rotten sons a you know what!

These are are junk ilvl 300 greens. Bought 2 off AH for a lot of gold only to retrieve them from the mail to find they are green with way reduced stats making them worthless to me.

Just caught me as well. Bought online where the AH still hows them as blue. Definitely green now with crappy stats. Waste of money.

Total Mats for the full set:

Folded Obsidium x22 -> Obsidium Bars x44 -> Obsidium Ores x88

Volatile Earth x16

Elementium Bar x43 -> Elementium Ore x86

Keep in mind that 30x Elementium bars and 15x Volatile earth are needed to make the armor and helm, equipable at 83. good to know that you can make a very good pvp set so early. if you have wrathful from Wotlk keep it untill you hit 83, otherwise swich everything to redsteel asap.

Total Cost of this set at lvl 82 (great lvl to start PvPlvling) 22 Folded obsidium, 13x Elementium Bars 1x Volatile earth.

Also, hands and wrist will be lvl 289, so no cata enchants.
