It's definitely a nice touch to have these as rep drops. My main is a rogue smith/leatherworker while my alt is a pala tank so i'll be able to tool them both up nicely as the item itself doesn't seem to need any rep to equip. Will need to wait until primordial saronite is for badges and drops to around 500 a pop again of course :)

I really had wished my t10 legs did not have the expertise DK tanks really need. Otherwise I would have saved up my doe and created this in a heartbeat, STAMSTAMSTAM...bam~ HAHA.

Dks usually have an abundance of defense rating, so this would have been perfect. The extra armor is just orgasmic. People underestimate the awesome power of armor. I recommend it for any tank with the money to afford it. It's prob best off piece you can get girls and boys, get at it.

A guild mate even got 1-shot critted at Lich King 25, because he didn't notice he dove below the 540 defense when he equipped Scourgelord Chestguard, so you better keep an eye open.

No one has mentioned it so far, but these pants have a brand new "3D" model when worn in game, as opposed to a flat texture that covers your character model like bracers, chest gear and most (all? except these of course) other legs.

I really hope this trend continues. More new models to replace the generic 'plate boots' or 'plate gloves' we've been using since Vanilla and some 3D breastplates would be sexcellent as well. :]

Very rare to come across on our server (Hellfire) and if I do come across them they will cost me 18K. I know they are good, but they are not 18K good. Not with Cataclysm in sight wich will toss these legs aside being lvl80 req. W8 till they are around 7K (what they are worth in mats) and than buy them.

Death to all the BSers which sell high.

Only counting the raw materials, to make these (not including the primordial saronite that Wowhead states), it will take:

32 eternal earth
12 eternal fire (for titansteel)
12 eternal shadow (for titansteel)
36 titanium bars

For both the pants and the boots, it will take:

52 eternal earth
20 eternal fire
20 eternal shadow
60 titanium bars

You forgot about the primordial saronites you will need. 8 for legs and 5 for boot for a total of 13.

I'm a paladin tank - I have 4 pcs of the T10 tanking set, and wear the from ICC10.
Is it worth it for me to break up the T10 4pc bonus (When you activate Divine Plea, you gain 12% dodge for 10 sec.) for these pants ?
Replacing the with the inferior T10 chest just to keep the bonus seems lame.
What do you think ?

Hi, I am a tanking paladin tanking ICC 10 and we are on the Lich King and so on.

I dont understand how for a pally these legs are better than the "leggaurds of lost hope" Leggaurds of Lost Hope

I understand the 1k armor bonus of the pillars of might, and the + to strength and parry,
but everywhere else it seems to be losing, with less dodge, less block, less hit.

Just the more i look into it the more it seems like these pants are a waste considering the mats to get them.

Yes i am def capped with or without these, and yes i am hit capped as well. but even though you are "def capped" def still does add to your dodge and to your parry and block as well.

I just dont see how these are better, can someone prove me wrong?

Don't forget this is getting nerfed slightly in Cataclysm, as it's armor is lowered by like 700 points or so. It remains good, but might not be "BiS" anymore.
